Rain-X620036 Plastic Treatment - 12 fl. oz.

I have always liked the effect of Rain-X glass cleaner. As a motorcyclist, I generally try to avoid rain, but when you take long trips like I do, sometimes you get stuck in it. Previously I only washed my windshield and visor with hot water and a soft microfiber towel. I was happy to find Rain-X for plastics. I experimented with other products and found they caused various problems over time. Peeling, discoloration, fogging, and even warping. So far, I haven’t seen any issues and haven’t been caught up in any rain, but when I spray water on my helmet and visor, the water just falls off. Added bonus - the bug guts rinse right off, too.

Works great on my eye protection for riding bike (Sawfly). They shed rain well after treatment with this stuff. You bet I would buy this again.

It works great on my one helmet that just has a black smoked shield but doesn't work on my other helmet that has a mirrored shield.

I bought this for my polycarbonate SxS windshield. It does ok, but not great and certainly not as good as RainX for glass windshields. I really don't know if it makes a difference having it on or not.
