It will show you the mechanism the corruptors use to get away with gaining their millions of dollars while in office. THIS IS A WAKEUP CALL FOR EVERYONE NO MATTER WHAT YOUR POLITICAL PREFERENCE IS.

Whether it's a small town mayor, governor of a state, state legislator or the US Congress and the president, corruption will always exist. Schweizer explains the magnitude and complexity of the problem.

Secret Empires is written by Peter Schweizer. This book cuts across the cloud behind which the children or other relatives of political figures of the highest rank are making billions from secret deals with foreign countries by using their prominent names. Biden, Kerry, McConnell, Obama, Clinton are all involved. It is the practice of foreign governments to hire the children of politicians to be on their boards or to buy into their companies. They make money off those names. Peter points out that hiring “princelings” from foreign countries is illegal in the United States, hiring US Princelings by foreign countries is not. It is moral and ethically honest? If not, it certainly borders on being illegal. While those at the top make tons of money, those at the bottom or just peripherally involved lose everything. Just reading this book makes me angry and scares me at the thought of how many foreign countries own so much of the United States already. It makes me wonder why the State Department and Department of Justice are not looking more carefully into these actions. I know for sue that if I cooperated with the foreign countries, I would be quickly investigated. Lack of money will result in that punishment. Why should these men get away with something like then when the average person will most likely end up in prison. It doesn’t make sense

Most certainly would Peter Schweizer’s recently released “Secret Empires” keep a Special prosecutor occupied for years to come, the book also serves as a textbook for encouraging term limits. Some of the material presented was known by this reader, yet a majority came as a surprise.It is no secret that Mitch McConnell has soft positions when it comes to China, but it was surprising how close his wife’s shipping family is with the Chinese Communist Party. When Elaine Chao was Secretary of Labor, this reader on two occasions sat across the aisle from her on United Airline’s non-stop flight from Beijing to Chicago. It was on the second occasion that I was left wondering why does the Secretary of Labor travel to China so frequently? Now we know.As one reads through the various chapters, you simply wonder how these people get away with this stuff. If President Trump did half of the deals in office that evidently Penny Pritzker did as Secretary of Commerce under Obama, he would be promptly tarred and feathered by the most trusted name in news. The section of Jared Kushner was interesting, although it seems that at this time the only thing that he can be charged with is not being the smartest businessman.While Joe Biden hints at running for president in 2020, with this book now on the streets, there is no way that he can. The multiple deals for his son Hunter in China and the Ukraine, while his father was actively involved in both countries hints for a Special Prosecutor. And that goes as well for the step-son of John Kerry, Chris Heinz, who was involved with Hunter Biden in several of these get rich awfully fast schemes. And perhaps more frightening is the expansion of China into the South China Sea, an action that could have been, should have been, stopped by Joe Biden & John Kerry but was not, and this reader wonders why.And then there is the massive snatch & grab schemes by the friends of Obama’s anti-industry regulations. It is deep and you simply need to read the book to grasp what happened while the nation slept. The writing is supported with 71 pages of notes. As usual, good job Mr. Schweizer.

After reading this book, you will pay more attention to what is going on in our government. Scary & upsetting.
