Works fine
Exactly as described here. Works fine. Very limited directions, but fairly easy to figure out. The contacts slide a little too easily, I think, but not really an issue. Just study everything and fairly clear how it all works. But better instructions would be nice. Also microscopic print, so there's that. All that aside, it works! And very nicely. The illuminated display panel is a nice touch, especially for an item priced so low. I am using it to charge numerous BL-5C batteries and it fully charges one from scratch in a few hours. Nice flip out plug, too.For the low price, this was a pleasant surprise and better than expected. Yay!Update: Note that you can also use this device to check the level of charge in batteries as well. The display will tell you when you insert the battery the charge level in 25% increments (25, 50, 75, 100). Can be useful from time to time,

Far better than I expected
I needed to get a charger for my work radio that uses a BT90 battery. The catch was that I didn't want to spend $50 for one so I thought I'd search around for a universal type charger to charge the spare batteries that I had. I came across this one feeling safe in the knowledge that it wouldn't last very long. Maybe a couple months but I at least had to try. Fourteen months later and it still works perfectly. It took just a touch of online research to find which was the positive and negative contacts on the battery and the rest was easy. I don't remember anything about the instructions so I can't attest to them the operation has been simple. If this one ever goes out I absolutely plan on buying another.

Works well
It works well and has a usb port so you can simultaneously charge a battery and another electronic. It takes several hours for a full charge and the led display is very bright and shows the charging status. I'm satisfied with this purchase.I want to mention though if you have any issues with your eyesight/hands in handling small objects, I would not reccomend this one as the tiny metal tabs have to line up perfectly with your batteries terminals or it won't charge, it will show 100% on the display, but the battery will not charge unless those little metal points meet exactly. Also you have to be gentle or you can pop those little tabs completely off the sliding track fairly easily. I found it easier to place the battery 1/2 way in the slinding holder part first, about an inch or so above the metal tabs so I could better align the terminals. Then when they're in the right place just slide the battery down the rest of the way. You may have to do this from time to time because they will sometime shift out of place or if you have different batteries to charge.

Works with every brand
Seriously this item is awesome. I sell on eBay and I resell quite a few cameras. This allows me to charge and test any battery I have instead of buying chargers for every brand. Love it

Disappointed. Really Needed This!
Did not charge my camera batteries. Lights came on. Left in charger for 24hrs... nothing... I missed the return date.

Charger fits all my cell batteries
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is simalar to one I had years ago. It will fit the cell batteries I have to charge. Plus it has 2 USB ports to also charge other things I have.

it works fine
it does work but takes like 6 hours to charge the battery. it is ok for the money but it may also be the best you can get for the xcover under a 50 dollars. as a side note the xcover 6 pro will run on the xcover battery with no issues. after use it is clear that it will not charge the xcovers battery over 80-85% and it takes a very long time. 12 hours to get to that. however if you dont use the battery like i do it does work and is worth the money if time is not the issue.
