A great device. I'm always afraid of cutting my hand with the shop edges of a can top as I am pulling it off. When I got one several years ago, it had a metal extension to help you pry up the loop. This does not. But you can pry it up with the edge. Makes opening these cans with sharp edges much safer. Good to have around the house.

These are so nice. I've always had a hard time opening the pull tab lids. I could lift the tab, but I had to use a butter knife to lift it from there, and it only went so far. With this gadget, I slip the hook under the tab and lift it up. Turn it around and rock it back all the way to remove the lid, holding on to the edges of the can. So easy. Small or large can. It's the same. It's nice to find something that works.

Got this for my sister. She finally figured out how to use mine. Once you understand how to make it do all the hard parts of opening these "convenient" easy off lids it works really beautifully. Gracefully even. No slips, no spills, no sharp edges close to fingers. It will peel the whole lid back in a smooth, controlled movement. A bit of grip strength needed but no dexterity needed. I reach for this every time. If It didn't work I wouldn't bother. Your friends are going to want one when they see you use it. Takes the anxiety these lids seem to cause away because you know you can get it open without slicing your hand open or throwing it all over the kitchen. I recommend this for every household, not just those with dexterity issues. Even kids can open cans with this thing.

Ordered this opener because I injured my wrist and it left it weak. This thing did not serve well. The hook was too thick to fit into most of the can loops on the lids. Finally ended up tossed in the trash.

This tool makes opening pull top cans so much easier! Sometimes I don’t have the hand strength to pull the top off and sometimes I lose grip of the can. This solves those problems. Hold the can firmly and the tool helps to pull the lid up and off.
