Great attachment
Works great fits my 24” mitutoyo digital height gage perfect I have the gage with the blue hand wheel. This works great for checking squareness using height gage. My height gage is pretty darn good so it is extremely repeatable with perpendicularity. So since it is using this with an indicator on it checks squareness very very accurately. My height gage has the hand wheel and toothed track in back so that may be why it works for that as your normal floating or free falling height gage may not work as well. Even if not it is still nice to have to use as a surface gage. Starrett attachments are over double the cost of these and don’t work much better.

Poor quality
The dovetail clamp was defective, it would not hold the indicator steadily. The dovetail feature was clearly cut with a broken dovetail cutter. This item was useless to me.
