I bought this in June of 2016 and used it daily, including as my work from home chair since covid hit, so it's been almost 9 years, for its then $371.0 price tag, it exceeded my expectations. Unfortunately, part of the inner frame most of have broken recently as one side sinks in when you sit on it now. So, it's time to say goodbye to this trooper of a couch. If it were up to me, I would simply replace it with the same model, but my wife is directing me to do otherwise.

My old couch was donezo. It needed to be replaced. But listen, I have 3 kids and 3 dogs. 3 TODDLERS and 3 GREAT DANES. I have absolutely not right spending a ton of money on furniture with these bad mambajambas here.I was hesitant to buy this couch because the reviews were not very friendly. But I’m glad I went with my gut instead of listening to a bunch of strangers on the internet who likely only review when they hate something, so HERE I AM.Ordered the couch in navy blue. It arrived earlier than expected. The delivery folks were so nice and friendly. It came packaged well - no damage, no tears, wrapped up and padded. The color is beautiful. I chose the blue because it was at the time, the cheapest option. But honestly, it’s a really beautiful color.I’ve had it now for 1.5 months. I’m going to be completely honest here: the cushions are firm. Not as firm as lying on the ground, but firm nonetheless. My husband loves that. I wish they were a bit softer so I could sink in a bit. It’s still not terrible. I’ve napped plenty of times on those firm cushions.The BEST PART OF THIS COUCH is how easy it is to clean. I swear to god. You remember me saying I’ve got a house full of animals? I’m sure you can imagine how messy it gets around here. Food, crayons, slobber, everything. I wipe it off with a warm washcloth and it just cleans so nicely. My borderline psychopath daughter even drew a beautiful photo on it with a crayola marker and I just spot cleaned it with some dish soap and a washcloth. SO EASY.I love this couch so much that I’m waiting for the blue loveseat to come back in stock so we can be all matchy matchy.Buy the couch.

Changing review to one star. The cushions are a real annoyance! They won't stay in place! I've had the sofa for a week, just went to lean into the armrest to get comfortable and a board in the arm snapped. Cheap doesn't even begin to describe it.I needed a cheap sofa so I can't complain that I got a CHEAP sofa. As others have mentioned, the cushions are an issue! They literally slide right off the couch every time you sit on it. I'll have to find a creative way to fix the issue. The fabric is feels like thick textured paper, I don't expect it to last long, hopefully I'll get a year out of it.The problematic seat cushions are not reversible. The back cushions are attached, which is good but they are really full, so full it limits the seating area. Cushions are very firm, which is perfect for me.Attaching the legs was a bit of a hassle, no predrilled holes but came with self-tapping screws. No center support though, I may add a 2x4 brace in the center as a foot/leg.I do like the color, somewhere between brown and gray.

I always purchase from Ashley brand. I like the sofa. I also notice that there are pre-drilled holes in the bottom of the sofa and you can just twist the legs right into the pre-drilled holes. The fabric on the back of the sofa that covers the wood is very very thin so be careful to not lean or allow others to lean driving their knees into the back of the sofa. The seating isn't deep, but overall it's a nice comfortable sofa.

We bought this couch for our studio apartment a few months ago, and so far we love it. The color is a nice, calm green -- not too bright. And the fabric is great, too: it's soft, but still very resistant to things like crumbs and liquid. We eat a lot on our couch, and it's super easy to just sweep any crumbs or debris off the cushions. The cushion padding is also good -- I feel like it supports both of us very well, without sinking in. It's nice and wide, and the arms are rounded and cushioned, which makes it perfect for napping. Our friend visited us and slept on this couch for a week, and he had zero complaints -- it's even reasonably comfortable to sleep on it without a pillow. We live in a studio apartment, and we were initially worried the couch would take up too much room, but it doesn't feel cramped in our space at all. And we have not attached the feet (because we don't have the power drill we apparently need to do it) so the couch sits just a little lower for that reason. The only thing I wish is that ALL the cushions were detachable. But that's really my only complaint. Overall it's been a fantastic first couch for us, very comfy, and it looks very classy and inviting in our living room.Some notes about delivery: I would recommend that if you buy this, you schedule a delivery time when you and a partner can move it into your place TOGETHER. Ours was delivered while I was at work, and the moving guy would not offer to help carry it up the stairs, so my boyfriend had to rely on the kindness of a stranger in our building to help him carry it.Also: I was initially worried about fitting this thing through our narrow doorway (approx. 31.5 inches wide) but it ended up fitting through the doorway NO PROBLEM, still folded up inside its packaging. So don't stress about that! :)
