This a great product. My skin feels so much better.

It cleared my face , im so glad it worked ! 9/10 i would give it 10/10 but the step 1 bottle is so hard to squeeze!

I have used proactiv for years & I love it. I tried this only because the price & the ingredients are basically the same. This product line kept my skin clear but after only a few uses my face was oily/greasy looking.

Just a reminder that comparisons to Proactive are limited to benzoyl peroxide. I have used Proactive for about 20 years from young adulthood until now. Like others, I decided to try this system because of its "Compare to Proactive" advertisement. I did so to save money as well as to avoid change (Proactive is phasing out its original formula to focus on their new one; same ingredients with altered application). Though I am certain that the Up & Up system works well for some, after only a few weeks, my skin has deteriorated to pubescent struggles of constant breakouts, large pores and mottled skin. Lesson: Though this system has the same amount of benzoyl peroxide, Proactive's formula evidently contains much in the way of its other ingredients to keep mature skin looking healthy and clear. This may mean learning to value oneself enough to spend the extra money and stick to what has served one faithfully.

Proactiv is the only facewash that seems to work for my skin and I tried Up & Up's version because of the price. The microbeads are smaller in Up & Up's cleanser, so I don't feel as much of the scrubbing, but I guess that's better for the environment so I'll take it. The one thing I don't like is the cleanser is only sold as part of the kit. I never use the toner and rarely use the lotion. So I always have to buy the three products together, two of which are basically useless to me. I may give up my Aveeno moisturizer and use the lotion in this kit to get rid of it - if my skin doesn't mind. A Proactiv subscription, FYI, lets you purchase products monthly, quarterly, or every 6 months as long as you order a certain amount. And you can order in any combination you want. So I would get 3 cleansers every 6 months which was perfect. If Up & Up were sold separately I'd be 100% on board, but for now this may be my last purchase.
