Over the past 2.5 years of using my home office as a full time workspace I'd been using a halogen lamp that provided general uplighting.. this was generally okay, but heated the room too much and burned a significant amount of electricity when run for long hours in winter.Got this light to provide desktop lighting that would resolve these issue, which it did. It also provides more directable lighting for different situations, like videoconferencing.The light was simple to set up (under 5 minutes) and a pleasure to use. Following the instructions I was quickly able to set the color temperature and brightness I wanted and position it properly and securely. I can easily swing the top section out of the way if I need to access the back of my desk, adjust the light between indirect (at the wall) direct (on the desktop/keyboard) and toward my face for very nice videoconfernce lighting. I also love the touch control that features a little red led between the buttons to show me where they are when turning on the light when I walk into the room in the dark. Now that we're getting into the darker days of fall I turn it on when I first get up before daybreak and leave it on until I go to bed without any concern of electricity use or hours on the lamp, as with the old halogen.Been using it through the seasonal lighting change all through the month of September and am delighted with its functionality and design.

I don't use this lap for any ultra-specialized kind of job. I only use it to light my desk when I am on my computer or writing on a notebook or reading books and for that it's perfect. It has different warmth and power settings that I can adjust and the arm is very versatile, although , as someone mentioned in a different review. you have to attach it to the side of the desk because the top doesn't bend sideways. I also added a felt sticker to the clamp to prevent damage on my desk.It also has very small footprint. which is good, and the light is distributed very evenly on the desk. I used to have a regular desk lamp with a cone and a light bulb but I always found the light was too focused on one section of my desk. This one is much better.

The lamp doesnt feel cheap and is very practical since it can be positioned in many ways.

Performed as expected and feels well built! I only wish the buttons were easier to use - they're not physical buttons that you push down, rather it appears they use capacitive touch and it makes them a bit more finicky to operate.

This light looks great and will adjust to wherever you want it. You can change the light from warm to cool and the intensity is adjustable to whatever you need. Worth the money.

Highly recommend this item. Get exactly what you want for the price.Very happy with my purchase.I love this desk lamp. I use it as a bedside reading light and it does an amazing job. It takes up very little room allowing plenty of space for my books and tablet.However one thing to note learning the touch controls takes a few days to get used but once you’re familiar the light adjustability is phenomenal.The best features has to be the light adjustability. You can have bright white light or dim yellow light in just two taps.Second is the stiffness of the joints. They feel sturdy and well made when adjusting the angle of the arm. Unlike some of those springy saggy architect “like” lights. I’m not sure how it would do with a lot of movement but definitely fits my need.

I can't say enough good about this. The arms can be placed in many different ways to insure good coverage. The power switch and the switch for brightness/color are easily accessible and are sensitive enough all you have to do is tap it. The light covers a very large area and is easily repositioned. The different light settings allow it to have multiple uses. I have it clamped to my electric piano stand and have the lightened positioned over the music stand. It has a very low profile and is rather inconspicuous. The price is extremely reasonable. The C clamp is more functional than other types of clamps and insures solid mounting.Awesome light!

I have two of these units, they work well and are solidly built from metal. I am writing this while using one of the units. highly recommend.
