Excellent for foam
I cut a foam mattress with it. It cut like butter. The only thing was is that the mattress was 5 inches thick but with the stroke of my saw, it wasn’t quite thick enough to go through it in one shot. I wish they made one a little bit longer. I would definitely buy it again if I needed it.

Best thing I found to cut 2 inch XPS
After trying several methods to cut 2 inch XPS I decided to give these a try. Although my cut was a little wavy, probably my fault, had much better success with these than other methods. Cuts fast with little to no shavings or dust.

Cuts EPS Rigid foam very well
I bought this blade for cutting EPS rigid foam after watching a YouTube video comparing several different methods including a circular saw which is what I have been doing. It definitely cuts the foam well and without the mess, my only complaint is that the blade is too long or flexy to do beveled cuts properly, especially near the edge of a panel, so I've gone back to the circular saw for that. The beveled cuts start out well, but end up badly skewed. Perhaps going slowly would help.If you'll mainly be doing 90 degree cuts this blade is perfect. It's even possible to freehand the straight cuts or do them without a guide.UPDATE: After using this blade for a week, I have changed the rating to a 5. I'm starting to prefer it over the circ saw. In fact, now I'm doing the long cuts with the jig saw and only saving the shorter beveled cuts for the circ saw. This method greatly reduces the amount of foam getting into the air and onto my clothes. That alone is reason enough to buy this blade.

Worked great on 2" thick foam insulation board but....
While this blade worked really well for straight cuts it did not perform as well on angle cuts as the blade is thin and bends which changes the angle, a bit thicker and this would be great!

The right tool for the job
These blades are designed for a specific purpose - and they do a great job of it. We have put down over 40 sheets of solid rubber stall mats (48" x 72" x 3/4"). This would be an impossible task without using a power saw/cutter of some kind. After experimenting - and failing - with different DeWalt saws and blades, I discovered the combination of these blades and my 20 volt scroll saw. Perfect! The blades have no teeth, they are just sharp. Damned sharp! Reminds me of the old electric carving knives. So, NEVER get your hands out in front of the cut line, be careful, etc. The way to tell it's time to change blades is when the old one loses its rigidity due to the heat created cutting through solid rubber like this. Instead of scrolling or turning, the blades just bend. Don't try to stretch the life of the blade. At this price, order several sets and change frequently. Then take your time and you'll have a quality cut.

Wow, look no farther! Ideal option for cutting foam insulation!
I used this blade in my jig saw to cut 1.5" styrofoam insulation that is foil backed on one side and a plastic film on the otherside. It sliced the backer's and foam perfectly. Left a factory clean edge with no tear out. You can see from my photos how clean it cuts and how little mess is left behind.I would recommend cutting at the slowest speed to avoid over heating the blade and beware it is super sharp. The blade pulls itself through the foam like a self propelled mower, so it is effortless to get a great cut. After cutting up sheets in the recent past with a Stanley razor knife and the mess to clean up afterwards of all the little white styrofoam balls I am thrilled that 99 percent of that was eliminated by using this blade. Plus I got a clean edge that was at 90 degrees! Save yourself the aggravation and zip through your cutting with ease with this tool.

Perfect for cutting 2 inch insulation foam board
Goes through 2 inch foam board like a hot knife in butter.Has not dulled. I did cut off a few inches as the knife is rather long for my jig saw.
