SAVED MY CAT'S LIFE!!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This product has SAVED my 15 yr old kitty's life! She was diagnosed about 8 months ago with hyperthyroidism and then shortly after, kidney disease. She was throwing up multiple times a day and losing weight rapidly. We are on month 2 of using this product and she is finally starting to gain weight and puking WAY less often! No issues with administering.. I just cut the capsule and sprinkle in her wet food twice a day.

***WARNING*** arrived completely warm & made my dog very sick
I was really excited to try this product to help my dog. The package arrived with ice packs completely melted (product WARM). I put in the fridge, and gave to my dog that night: gave 1 pill as directed for his size and then 1 (out for the directed 2) in the AM. *only 2 pills total. Made my dog SO sick- that day he was puking and had bright yellow diarrhea. I called our vet, who said stop giving the Adozyl immediately - did not give remaining directed dose (of 2 pills) that AM, nor did we give the evening dose. After stopping dog instantly return to normal by next day. This supplement is EXPENSIVE and naturally it is IMPOSSIBLE to return and any attempt I have made to contact seller results in error. Our vet was the one who had recommended this product, but unfortunately I feel that the melted ice packs and warmed product had compromised the Adozyl and ultimately made my dog very sick.

Normal kidney values in 90 days
We were shocked to hear our elderly toy poodle had high kidney values at her annual vet visit. Her BUN, creatine and USG placed her in stage 1 kidney disease.90 days later, every value was in the normal range. Even with no change to her diet.

Shipping practices sub par
Works well. But at $85 it is supposed to be kept cold. It ships in ice but every time I get it, the ice is melted. Winter or summer. They need to figure out how to ship it better.

Efficent, but so expensive !
This supplement is helping my senior baby girl to cope with kidneys issues and I am very thankful for that. I only wish it would not be so expensive and that the shipping should be as well cheaper despite the fact that the product must be refrigerated. I recommend it !

Don't give up hope, Azodyl saved our cat's life!
We moved to Nicaragua and brought our 3 cats. They are 11 years old and are our children. Probably not natural but we love these girls so much. Well, 2 months ago our alpha cat became very lethargic and just "not herself" we had the vet come out and we had blood and urine tests done. Her BUN (nitrogen urea) was 109, her creatine was elevated to 8.8. She was in the final stage of kidney failure. These numbers are a death sentence to cats in Nicaragua. We got second, third and forth opinions and all but one vet said "put her down". I read and researched and read some more...I ordered several items and had a friend that was back in the States bring us what items I orderd. It was a week of hell waiting to get this medication. It was not the fault of shipping. The shipping was fast. It was waiting for our friends to return. We started the Azodyl pills the night we got them from the airport. We also started Epakitin and NHV tripsy drops. The week prior to recieving these items from the US we had her on fomotadine, sodium bicarb and zofran.that was the only treatment we could get for her in Nicaragua. We did give her 10cc of water every hour, orally, via a syringe, we supplamented with pedialyte every three hours. After two weeks on the Azodyl and other items listed above her BUN was down to 33 and her creatinine was 3.8. We will have her blood tested again in two weeks. She is back to chasing butterflies and being happy. Her eyes are bright again. She is eating again and is full of life. She had lost about 1/2 of her body weight. We now are concentrating on her diet and getting some weight back on her. I am positive that Azodyl saved her life. We have resigned ourselves that she will be on medication for the rest of her life. That is a small price to pay to know that kidney failure is not going to take her anytime soon. The vets here have never seen a turn around like She had. Of course we still have to have people bring it in from the US. Again...small price to pay for our baby. If you are reading this and your cat has CKD, try this. I also reccomend the other two products I mentioned.Good luck!
