Snoop many crummy reviews. As everyone else I received three sticks in the mailI was a little bit worried about it when I got it so I went and got some aloe vera out of my yard and I wrapped all the little sticks with aloe in the bottom and dunked them in water. Each one in its own cup.It should be noted that in the directions it says to cup them separately and add water. it's very important because the plants use the water to get oxygen, and if there's not enough oxygen for all the plants they die. it's simple. My bonsais are only less than 2 weeks old. As you see that they're growing wonderfully. I changed their water daily, they are in the sun but not outside. They are bonsai trees and just their name says they are tiny and meant to be very fragile. if you don't have the time or the patience for a fragile plant, you should not get one it is that simple.I only kept them wrapped in aloe and emerged in water 3inches deep 4 one day, when I unwrapped them.I could see that in one day that was enough to stimulate the roots to grow and I removed the aloe. By day one I already had Roots growing. and when I got them they were simply three sticks in the mail no roots at all. With in 3 days each sticks had several roots and leaves, over time they have developed and became beautiful little developing trees. I CHECK ON THEM DAILY. I CHANGE THEIR WATER DAILY. and I've already got their little soon to be homes set up though, I have not put them into the bonsai dirt or the bonsai pots because the directions said they need to be in water only 4 several weeks. So I'm going 2 wait a few more days.Remember when you pot them they all need their own pots, they all need the correct dirt, drainage so their roots don't rot.yet I'm a little worried because now I have three living bonsai plants and if you know anything about bonsais you know that they are full-time job you must water them and take care of them and love them just like you would a child.so again if you are not into loving your bonsai or taking care of things then you should. I suggest not get one. If ur new to raising greenery, I would first start with a regular house plant and see if it lives. because they are very easy to live. whereas a bonsai is delicate n chances r it may die.I changed their water daily, again I repeat I changed their water daily they are all on separate cups and they are alive and well. they all have wonderful Roots growing no fertilizer because you'll end up with a full sized tree day. They will all live to be a good old age, I think I'm going to give away 2 once they are ready 4 planting. Because I don't want to have the responsibility of taking care of three bonsai trees.

Cuttings don't grow
The cuttings (6 count) only lived for a few days whether I put them in water or planted them in potting soil. I even tried rooting hormone to get the cuttings to root, with no success. I think from now on I will buy living bonsai trees. I doubt that others with more plant knowledge would not have this much trouble.

Grow your own Bonsai
Arrived as 2 dry twig sticks & one 1 inch thick X 6 inch long dry starter wood stick. Took over a month to grow threadlike roots and green shoots while in water. Now starting to thrive, 2 twigs are in potting soil, doing nicely on windowsill. Larger 6 inch stick will be potted next month. Have patience, the growing process takes a long time to produce results. Don't give up! ~ Thank You, seller, for decent price & delivery.

Cuttings Took Off, Rooted with Foliage (UPDATED with PICS)
UPDATE JULY 29: ALL of the cuttings turned brown, both in soil and water, even new ones I recently ordered and all replacements. I am going to make this 2 stars for the time I lost and disappointment. I was diligent and careful. I even started using distilled water to avoid chlorine. I am now certain the cuttings are not adequate.UPDATE (July 22nd): Only one of the actual hybrid is surviving and barely but still have green foliage. I consider myself having a decent green thumb and persisted with the necessary maintenance of the cuttings, but still the darkening/browning--that I mentioned in my inital review below--also expanded in the rooted cuttings both those in soil and those still in water. So maybe this is a fungal problem or perhaps the cuttings are just not healthy. Is there a chance I did something wrong? Sure, but I have done my due research and diligence, yet the cuttings died. I just took off one star because the seller was ultra helpful and understanding. I bought a total of five products from the seller and got one refund. I didn't ask for other refunds because seller promptly sent me replacements. But those too also browned and died. I am going to just chaulk it up to me instead since seller was very helpful.ORIGINAL REVIEW:From the same seller, I ordered this global tree cutting plus the flame cutting, plus the 5 variety pack cuttings (2 Weeping, 1 Hybrid, and 2 Corks). I give the Globe Round Weeping Tree cutting 5 stars because...well...it was the cuttings out of all of them that did not give me any difficulties and easily, quickly rooted in water under very high intensity grow lights (I have an efficient propagating station) and sprouted new foliage buds almost immediately. In a few days it already developed leaves. I am certain I can make this a success story but then entering in Oh-Oh Land: upon arrival I noticed the other cuttings had some browning/darkening when they arrived. I chaulked it to being a part of the bark-pattern...until I started to question my eyesight because every day in the morning when I expect the cuttings in water, I debated with myself if the browning was expanding or spreading. The Flames were the worst as it did not root nor bud. Smelling the awful odor of the water, I then knew the darkening of the cuttings were indeed bad news. I followed the directions that came with the items, I kept all root-end of the cuttings moist/watered. I emailed seller about the situation. Seller was very helpful, replied promptly. And offered to send replacements. This was a bonsai project under a planned timespan but the seller was eager for me to get good cuttings and I did not want my project to be disappointing. I received the replacements and repeated the water rooting. And a week and half later same thing happened with the browning. I emailed seller and explained only the Australian hybrids and the Globe Weeping are successfully growing in Bonsais Substrate mixed with Foxfarm Ocean soil. The rest of the cuttings declined. It sucks because I spent so much time cultivating them. But I am not ready to give up because seller is helpful and reasonable. So I bought a different type of willow cuttings from the seller and also insists seller inspect cuttings have no browning when sending to me. See pics that I uploaded.

Globe willow? Don't think so.
Well, the cutting rooted and leaves appeared; now it's been in soil for two days, leaves look healthy -- HOWEVER: I bought what was advertised as a Globe Willow and no, mine are decidedly not globe willow leaves. The leaves on my cutting are plain weeping willow leaves, the same as all the other pictures of plain weeping willow leaves. I guess packing practically-identical cuttings all day can get confusing, but it would be good customer service if the seller could ship me a real globe willow cutting.

So far so good!
It was VERY NICE the seller sent along 2 extra cuttings, so 3 in total. I, by far, do not have a green thumb but decided to go out on a whim & attempt to grow a bonsai. Well they're doing great! So far, so good! The seller also even sent a personal information sheet in case you have questions you can contact him directly, along with perfect instructions on how to grow & care for them. It seems they're very a very hardy plant & easy to care for, grow & enjoy!
