Good scope for my GAMO
I have an older GAMO .22 air gun. The scope that came with it had the rectangle come lose and I did not want to try and fix it. I ordered this scope, and as it turns out I would be they are made in the same factor with just a few changes. Also the majority of users like this scope especially for air rifles. I got the GAMO Hornet on sales and the scope lasted six years. I used the GAMO mount and rings because they held zero all those years. Yesterday I sighted the scope in. It is important to make sure you follow the instructions for obtaining eye relief. I shot one group to see where the alignment was, about 3" low but all three round "touched". Remember that each click on the adjustment knobs (left/right, up/down) and for very small adjustments at 100 yards. I sight my gun in for 25', so it can take a large number of "clicks" on the adjusters to move the cross hairs to where they need to be. Shooting groups of threes (all tightly clustered), I had to shoot about 3 groups moving the adjustor between 15 and 20 clicks a time. Then I fired 10 groups of 5 and each group was less than 1.5" (I was using a rest for the rifle during the setup and testing). I don't know about the length of durability, but it is easy to install, easy to adjust, and held well for about 60 shots during setup and testing. For around $30 I don't know of a better choice.

Surprisingly Great
What a great little optic. I had bought a 22 rifle that was super inexpensive so didn't want to spend a lot on the optic. For the price I was surprises at how clear the optics are. The cross hairs are super crisp and the magnification was smooth. I have a 500 round box through the rifle with this optic and no shift in impact. I know it's a .22 but there is some recoil and this was inexpensive so I wouldn't have been shocked to have to keep fiddling with zero. To my surprise it's been spot on since my first zero outing. Now several trips out and back moving around the house taking in and out of case and its been rock solid.

Great for the money
I just received this today. I purchased the CLive 3x9x40 with the 11mm mounts. I put it on a Gamo Silent Cat .177 cal air pellet rifle. The mounts were right for this gun and I was impressed with the quality of the scope and the mounts for the money. I mounted it on my rifle and luckily when I went to sight it I’m it was very close. I only had to adjust it up just a tad. I have got several black birds this afternoon with it. It is pretty clear. I have a few Nikon scopes on other center fire rifles and this is no Nikon but for the money I would recommend this scope. Also the clicks on the windage and elevation are nice. This is a pretty nice scope for a 22 rifle or pellet gun. I am happy with my purchase. I only gave 4 stars because it is no Nikon but a very nice scope for $33.99

Very accurate!
Great! I have two! One on a 22lr rifle and the other on a 22 magnum rifle. Zeroed both with a laser bore site. Both are extremely accurate! Great price and easy to install!

Reticle adjust flaky, lock ring too tight
This actually had two issues.1) I've mounted this on a Crosman air rifle and the image is clear and bright. I did have to get new mounting rings (11mm dovetail). I don't know what the original ones are, maybe 16.5 or 18mm. After it was mounted I proceeded to do a test shot at about 20 ft - wide left and a little high. 2-4 shots wide varying from 1 1/2 inch to 1 inch with the verticle centered. Unlike the verticle adjust which seemed solid, the horizontal was not easy to adjust. E.g. I adjusted 8 clicks only to have the shot directly over the previous one. Twenty clicks and it moved maybe a 1 /4 inch. Another 20 and moved maybe 1/8 inch. I finally backed out two whole turns and put it back where it started minus 20 clicks and it moved maybe 1/2 inch. At least it was moving in the right direction. At this rate I think I'll have to get it to shoot to the right and then work it back left.I have a feeling that the reticle spring is not free hence "sticky" movements. I could return this but other than a flaky horizontal adjustment I think I can use it.2) As shipped the lock ring for the eyepiece adjust was so tight I couldn't move it with my hands. I had to resort to pliers which FINALLY budged it. I couldn't believe how tight that ring was! Of course the pliers not only dinged the black anodize on the ring but also left scratches on the eyepiece.Hmmm, maybe I should return it. I'll sleep on it.

Easy to mount
For the price it works great on my 22 rifle

Great product, but not for me at this time
Seems like a good little scope, just didn’t fit my rifle. Perhaps in the description you can take notes that needs a mounting plate on some rifles such as mine.

Work well for 22lr
You can adjust zoom. Work good at 50 to a hundred yard. Mounted on slotted rail works well.
