We were looking for a multi-funtion party light for our game room for when the kids like to have "dance parties." We tested out at least half a dozen other lights, from cheaper models to units more expensive than this. This product combined the best of them all with the LED disco light features, combined with the 2 colors of lasers. Very happy and it provides a great effect for the room. The only draw back is that the sound activation feature is not as responsive as other units, but it does not detract that much from the product.

The media could not be loaded. Really amazing entertainment value! They worked great for a small party get together. It sat in the corner of the room and didn't take up too much space or made any noises. I thought this thing would be heavy but it's surprisingly light.The disco ball light also surprisingly lights up the whole room and have a bunch of crazy patterns. The controller lets me control when the laser turns on and off so I can sort of ad-hoc DJ the music and lights to the music drop. This was fun to do and a neat party trick.These things are really bright and could probably cover a 20 x 20 room without any issues. And at the ~$50 range, it is really good value!

You get a lot for the money with this light.It really fills the room with cool patterns and gives a wonderful sense of motion bringing your party alive!And included remote and easy installation makes it even better!I consider this a “base motion“ light. Which means, you use it to establish the primary floor pattern. Then I recommend you purchase a moon flower or something which has a stronger and more dominant pattern to center in your dance floor. Purchase other lights such as lasers to add motion to the walls and ceiling, and you will have a full nightclub affect!

So, in terms of being able to fill a room with an explosion of lasers and lights, this works quite well for the price. It competes in the "I'm about to have a seizure" department with my friend's entry level professional lighting rig, at least for throwing a party in a garage.However just like everything under $100 for this kind of thing, it's cheap chinese bootleg quality crud. Audio detection might as well not be included - it doesn't work unless it is right next to the audio source or you are playing it SUPER loud. One of the screws for the handle was missing it's threading (?????) which means we couldn't hang it up. It included two remotes... for some reason. 2 out of the 3 of the music options are just "exactly like the other ones, except now flash", which is pointless since there's already a flash button. The non-music options honestly looked completely identical. No options to change intensity, brightness, or speed. We found it way, way to intense for it to shoot into the center of the room for our little party and had to regulate it to just shooting lights into a wall to tone it down. The only other way to tone it down is to completely disable the LED wheel (which isn't that intense or interesting by itself) or completely disable the laser system, which is responsible for 90% of the patterns.But... it does work, and works quite well for the price if you can handle the intensity. If you just need a one-and-done party lights solution for a good evening of fun without wanting to take it too seriously, this'll do it.

I bought two smaller/cheaper party lights and this one to compare since I would need more than one. Well, you get what you paid for in this case. Right out of the box, the small cheap ones look cheap and well working. Nothing like this! Its a keeper. We used it under ambient light so effect was minimal. But in a dark room, the lights look fantastic. I just wish the laser zoom light were brighter.
