Updated my outdoor chairs nicely
Super STRONG paint for touching up your chairs with an added patina, or spray over for a solid look.I used it on my faded brown toned chairs for a patina look and love it!

Discovered by accident.
Needed brown spray paint for my plastic tiki statues and loved it. It gives them a textured look and feel. I will be detailing them with an acrylic paint kit I bought from amazon. I will post pics of the finished product when I review the paint kit.

A Waste of Money and a mess.
This product is horrible. The color OR texture didn’t match even come close to matching the cap. The can I got sprayed out runny liquid that looks terrible. I never saw spray paint behave this way before. Clumped together leaving bare gaps. Sprayed out in spatters instead of an even spray, and the nozzle leaked/dripped. It also wasn’t enough to cover the frame of a very small glass top patio table. I've used textured paint before and usually get great results. Yes, I cleaned the surface, yes I lightly sanded, all for nothing. Because this product is a liquid glue it seems, I'm left with a mess. I strongly suggest going to your local hardware store and buying from them, at least you can get your money back.

not easy to apply as rate of paint drops from high volume to low during can use
I found short bursts with quick sweeping motion in order to disperse the paint evenly, in the area working from the start of application. While the can drains it sprays less and less paint and my hands sweeping motion slowed to get even distribution. The paint appears very very thick at first and getting even coverage seems to be tricky. Yet this is one of the most durable coating I ever used. I first found this way back over 5 years ago for my 2004 patio furniture, 1 chair is 2 1/2 cans. The coatings are remarkable and tough as no problems existed for years, only a gradual wearing down from weathering took place. That's why I re coated 4 large Rocker chairs and one large swing as it took 16 cans to cover. TY they look brand new.

Thick
I've used previous types like this so I kinda knew what to expect. This isn't like normal spray paint at all. It's way thicker, so it comes in weird, requires more paint to finish a project. That's just the nature of this type, it has texture to. Used this for some 3d printed stuff to give a stone look. It also stinks way more than normal spray paint. If you're doing big projects expect to buy double than what you would normally use at least. I have found that these don't sit well for months. They get clogged and just won't spray anymore.

Does not cover
As some reviews stated, this runs out quickly. Had a metal bar stool that the arms were well worn. The can lasted for about half the stool. The paint is so thin if you hold it less than two feet away it will quickly run. Obviously by spraying two feet away much of the spray is going into the air and not hitting the stool. Once dry it did not even cover. You really need to paint the item first with a complementary color and the use this product to add texture. Will need at least three more cans to do two coats. Even then I am not sure it will cover. What a waste of money.Update: After adding another coat the stools looked beautiful. The product dries to a nice finish. Feels like fine sandpaper. While it still did not cover, if you are painting something that is close to the same color you can miss spots on purpose to save on paint and will not be able to tell the difference. I revised my rating to 3 stars to reflect how nice the finished product looks

Works great!
About 8 years ago I bought a somewhat expensive Windsor heavy aluminum patio set, 4 chairs and table. The paint on the bases of all 4 chairs were beginning to peel off and look unsightly. I started looking for the proper type paint in the correct color to refurbish the chairs. I found this paint online, searched for availability and ordered 4 cans from Amazon.Upon arrival I was very happy to see the cap color was exactly the right color! I sanded and prepped the chair bases and applied this paint without any primer for the bare aluminum, not all the paint needed repair so I was painting bare aluminum and a previously painted surface. The spray paint went on easily, did not want to run, dried quickly, blended with the old paint and covered amazingly well with one application, but I put on two coats. The final result was a perfect match for the original paint and I defy you to tell the repair from the original, fantastic! The chairs look as good as new.Precautions: As with all aerosol and spray paint read and follow the instructions on the label - before you use it.
