Updated my outdoor chairs nicely
Super STRONG paint for touching up your chairs with an added patina, or spray over for a solid look.I used it on my faded brown toned chairs for a patina look and love it!

Discovered by accident.
Needed brown spray paint for my plastic tiki statues and loved it. It gives them a textured look and feel. I will be detailing them with an acrylic paint kit I bought from amazon. I will post pics of the finished product when I review the paint kit.

A Waste of Money and a mess.
This product is horrible. The color OR texture didn’t match even come close to matching the cap. The can I got sprayed out runny liquid that looks terrible. I never saw spray paint behave this way before. Clumped together leaving bare gaps. Sprayed out in spatters instead of an even spray, and the nozzle leaked/dripped. It also wasn’t enough to cover the frame of a very small glass top patio table. I've used textured paint before and usually get great results. Yes, I cleaned the surface, yes I lightly sanded, all for nothing. Because this product is a liquid glue it seems, I'm left with a mess. I strongly suggest going to your local hardware store and buying from them, at least you can get your money back.

Great product

Looks Great! (When used correctly)
This paint looks great (like real stone) when used correctly.Best results tips:1. Use a primer or base paint. This paint is designed to give a look & texture- not necessarily full coverage. Using a primer will give better results. (Image 1 shows a side where primer was used. Texture paint went on smooth & even).2. Spray very light coats. Build layers of light coats for desired look. (Image 2 shows the “writing on glass jar” coming through). Again, trying to spray a heavy coat of this paint to get “coverage” will only make it patchy & run. (image 3 shows runs & patchy spots when trying a heavy coat).3. Nozzle can get clogged because it’s a paint with particles. First- make sure nozzle opening is lined up with “black dot” on top of can. You do have to press hard the first few times. Take the spray nozzle off of can & use safety pin to clear hole on small spray nozzle (not the can opening!)

Works great!
About 8 years ago I bought a somewhat expensive Windsor heavy aluminum patio set, 4 chairs and table. The paint on the bases of all 4 chairs were beginning to peel off and look unsightly. I started looking for the proper type paint in the correct color to refurbish the chairs. I found this paint online, searched for availability and ordered 4 cans from Amazon.Upon arrival I was very happy to see the cap color was exactly the right color! I sanded and prepped the chair bases and applied this paint without any primer for the bare aluminum, not all the paint needed repair so I was painting bare aluminum and a previously painted surface. The spray paint went on easily, did not want to run, dried quickly, blended with the old paint and covered amazingly well with one application, but I put on two coats. The final result was a perfect match for the original paint and I defy you to tell the repair from the original, fantastic! The chairs look as good as new.Precautions: As with all aerosol and spray paint read and follow the instructions on the label - before you use it.

Great Texture for Matching Things Like Bricks
I love these textured paints, which I use mainly to camouflage things (such as conduits and vents) on the brick facade of my house. (Once I even used them to create a replacement "brick" in a wall using cement and the paint. No one could tell that it wasn't just another brick in the wall.) These paints seem to be a bit hard to find other than on Amazon. My only complaint is that one can doesn't cover much area. I think that goes with the territory of it being a thick, gloppy paint to provide the textured finish.

Does not cover
As some reviews stated, this runs out quickly. Had a metal bar stool that the arms were well worn. The can lasted for about half the stool. The paint is so thin if you hold it less than two feet away it will quickly run. Obviously by spraying two feet away much of the spray is going into the air and not hitting the stool. Once dry it did not even cover. You really need to paint the item first with a complementary color and the use this product to add texture. Will need at least three more cans to do two coats. Even then I am not sure it will cover. What a waste of money.Update: After adding another coat the stools looked beautiful. The product dries to a nice finish. Feels like fine sandpaper. While it still did not cover, if you are painting something that is close to the same color you can miss spots on purpose to save on paint and will not be able to tell the difference. I revised my rating to 3 stars to reflect how nice the finished product looks
