I have 2 old Dell monitors mounted above my main 3 that were dug out of the garbage at a school years ago that still work great. For some unknown reason the DP->DVI adapters required for the old monitors just don't last - even though there are no active components in the adapters and they hardly ever get moved as the computer sits on the floor. Somehow I've managed to have 2 fail over the course of 13 or so years, but they're cheap enough and this one works just fine and I'm a happy camper :)

Just needed a Displayport to DVI as my monitor only does DVI and my GPU only has 1 HDMI port and the rest are DisplayPort. plugged this device into my GPU's DisplayPort and a standard DVI cable from this box to the monitor is windows picked it up immediately.

Grabbed my old Apple Cinema Display out of storage and remembered this thing runs on DVI, wanted to use my work laptop docking station with it but needed a DVI to DP adapter. Figure I'd try this out than to stack a few adapters to make an HDMI connection; So far so good! No issues with flickering, weird resolutions, or any desegregation on the image quality with this hooked into a WDTB19 Dell dock and a Windows system; Just worked right away and I didn't need to modify any settings.Will see how this fairs in a long term use case, but I think it should be fine, the cord length of the adapter is what makes it since adapters I've used in the past that were more stout and short seemed to have issues down the line due to stress on the cable.

Liked the fact that it was reasonably priced and did the job with no problems!

It worked perfectly fine and I was extremely satisfied with the product til couple days ago when it stopped working out of the blue. Nothing happened to cause it to break, no power outage, no cord mishap, no nothing, it just stopped working out of the blue. I changed this product with other brand's and it started working so I can rule out faulty monitor or any other cord.So for anyone thinking of purchasing this, just be mindful that this has a chance it won't last much through no fault of your own.

It’s an adapter it works and functions like it should.

I used a beefed up Intel MacBook pro to doy video production in the past but times have been catching up and davinci resolve was getting laggy and annoying. I'm running davinci resolve 18 beta on this little box with only 8 gigs of ram and almost everything happens in realtime. I have yet to hear a fan even during complicated renders. I have no complaints so far but that I wish I'd bought one with more storage.

The adaptor worked out of the box as expected. No issues with the new graphics card or monitor recognizing the adaptor.
