Quality of the Rotor & Pads
I recently installed Detroit Axle rotors and brake pads on my 2012 Toyota Corolla, and after driving over 2000 miles on rough roads at various speeds, I am thoroughly impressed. These are, without a doubt, the best rotors and pads in the market. Not a speck of wheel dust, no annoying squeaky noises, and the responsiveness when stopping at any speed is remarkable. Worth to switch from regular breaks

Quiet??? I don't think so!!!
My husband ordered these and installed them himself. We noticed they squealed (loudly) every time I brake AND even squeal when I accelerate and make turns until I accelerate to 25 miles per hour. We gave it a few months to ensure a long enough break in period (making sure to do a lot of quick stops from various speeds) then took it into a certified mechanic to have them inspected.I was told they were installed properly (of course), but that the pads are not compatible with the rotors. When I wrote the company about this, I was told that under the warranty I can get a new set sent to me but it would be exactly the same so I don't see a different outcome possible.The company also asked if I had them installed by a certified mechanic, as though they would be ordering brake parts through Amazon.Anyhow, I just wanted to let others know so if you have this problem yourself you know it's not just going to go away. I don't look forward to listening to this for the rest of the life of this vehicle but my luck they will last the full 10 year warranty period.
