Sturdy, but big slots
As others have mentioned, the slots are big and don’t hold the thread in place. I bought it after reading reviews and knowing what to expect, as I store my thread in boxes and figured I could live with it. I’m not sure I’ll buy them again because they’re bigger slots even than I expected, but I don’t plan to replace these immediately; they’ll do well enough. They are sturdy, made of good quality plastic and don’t bend like cardboard ones do.One of the ones I received was super broken. Obviously a manufacturing defect, but one in more than 100 is acceptable to me, especially given the price.

Loose threads
These bobbins aren’t flimsy, which is a plus, but I think the slits where you tuck the thread ends are too wide—much wider than the thickness of the thread, so don’t count on anything remaining nearly ticked away. My carefully wrapped bobbins were well on their way to becoming loose and tangled wads of thread. My fix has been to cut a new slit between them, which is where I tuck the ends now, but if you planned to use that space to label your bobbins, the new slit will be in your way. The first bobbins I ever bought were from a big-box craft store, and they had perfect, close slits that are still holding tight to the first threads I wrapped. I wish I could remember that brand to purchase those again

Great Idea
I wish I had purchased these a long time ago.I have been Cross Stitching now for over 20 years. And I have always the Cardboard Bobbins, which worked great till about 10 years ago. I had purchased a pack of 100 Cardboard Bobbins and they were sooo much thinner than the old ones. I had to double them up so they wouldn't fold on me as I was winding up the thread. So I tried these out.Pro's : Sturdy,Con: I have to use DMC stickers on here so I know the color code (For me this is a Con). And it doesn't hold the end when you are done.

Good value
These are really very decent for the price. They are sturdy and don’t flex too easily, I can write on them and sharpie and keep track of what color floss I have on them as I am using them for embroidery floss, and the price was right. My one and only complaint about these is the fact that they are very easy to come unraveled because the space in the two slits on the top is kind of a little bit too large at least in my opinion. You wouldn’t want to small because then maybe you could damage the floss but maybe a little tighter.

Good quality (but cheaper in-store)
Exactly what I wanted, half decent price. Unfortunately, they are infinitely cheaper at any craft store. Worth the trip to pick them up next time you stock up on floss.

The slots don't hold the thread in
They are a great value, but the slots are too big to hold the thread. I have to try and tie the thread together and it is very hard to do with none regular threads like satin or special effect. I would most likely buy a different brand if I needed to purchase again.

Wife got bobbins, no longer complains about tangled threads.
My wife got really into making these bracelet things for 2 weeks while she had bronchitis. She had a million threads and they were just in a pile.So she says to me “babe! I need somewhere to store all these threads”I says “yep” and I ignore it.She tells me this every 3 hours every day for 4 days til i broke down and we looked for some box options online and chose this one. She says “that’s perfect! It’s got all the bobbins I need!” So we ordered it and I helped her wrap them. I’m just glad I don’t have to hear her complain about not having anywhere to put her threads anymore. Worth the money to me!

Great plastic bobbins
Love the plastic bobbins. I have only been using paper ones. They don't last. These plastic ones should last me a lifetime. Of course I'll have to buy more to add thread to my collection.
