Heath/Zenith WC-6024-WH Transmitter and Receiver Motion Controlled Socket Set, White

I used this to control the light in a walk-in closet and it works very well. Screwed the receiver in to the light socket and set the transmitter on the shelf. Very easy.

We've only had it up and running for two days but so far it is working flawlessly. If the motion sensor is mounted high it can be tough adjusting the settings (range/sensitivity) and duration of light due to the difficulty seeing the settings. Try to get the settings in place before installation.

I purchased my second set of 2 of these transmitters about 7 months ago because the first two just quit working. With the original units --After changing batteries I had a hard time figuring out if the transmitter or receiver was bad- had some of each bad. The units were out door but protected by the roof overhang.I now have a failure of one of my replacement units- YUKIf you have these units controlled by a light switch and you turn off the power by mistake- the units seem to get "confused" by staying on 24 hr per day for a couple days then somehow start to work again- Put tape on your light switch.Some good info:The sensing range is good and I get a good year before replacing batteries.I think they are made in china

This is a very good product. It eliminates all wiring as the old ones had and it is easy to install,EXCEPT after installing and testing, with everything functioning well, I tried to put on the dome glass cover to the light and found that the diameter of the internal component was larger than the diameter of the cover so I could not use the product. It would be good to ask for that dimension, and/or have the manufacturer to list the diameter of the device.

I've only had this for a week, so I'll change my review if anything happens, but so far it's perfect. I mounted the transmitter on the outside of my back fence so that my porch light will turn on if anyone passes by. After some adjustment, it's working good.The receiver included with this unit is very bulky, and I see how some other reviewers complained that it wouldn't fit in their fixture. I must reiterate, this part is comically bulky---ridiculously bulky. The picture does not do it justice. If the receiver were more compact, I would give the product 5 stars.

Except from having to change the batteries after awhile, this sensor can take a lot of the pain out of feeling around for the light switch when you come in with a full armload. I have a sensor set up with 3 receivers to light up my entire living room when I enter it, like magic. It goes off by itself a few minutes after I leave. I have similar devices installed in my stairwell and hallways. It conserves energy, and it spoils you. The only downside is if you happen to be watching a scary movie, and, not moving around enough, the lights go out at a critical moment during the film! The upside is that you don't come home after several hours or days to find you left the hall or stairwell light on!

Did not work. Returned for refund.

Wasn't too difficult to install. When we walk into the room the light goes on. Then after a few minutes of being in the room it starts to flicker. Then sometimes it stays on. I wanted to like it, but it's very frustrating.
