Preglued is a Huge Bonus
I built a TV projector stand out of some leftover wood. I expected more work than this to finish the edging. The veneer glues on with just a regular iron and stays glued. Trimming is easy with nothing more than a knife. The veneer looks great with finishing oil.

Blended perfectly with 150+ year old original.
It was easy to use. It bonded well with the substrate. When sanded, stained and finished the new edge banding was indistinguishable from the desktop to which it was applied.

This product is easy to use, even for a first time user
This product was received in a tight roll as shown in the product picture, and was undamaged. The band of veneer was easy to cut and trim with a scissors and utility knife. The application could not have been easier as I was able to adhere the veneer to the edge of a coffee table with a clothes iron on high heat. Mild pressure was used to ensure good adhesion. It is easy to reapply and adjust once the glue starts to melt, you only just need to reheat the banding again with the iron, but I would not recommend doing that after the glue has completely cooled. Great product. Will buy again if needed for future woodworking projects.

Excellent way to cover up wood end grain. Helps to stop chipping.

Several types of mahogany-appears to be sipo utile which makes a difference
I was expecting this to be a different African mahogany that's more common and not sipo utile. Description didn't specify. Unfortunately doesn't match or look close to the African mahogany on my client's piece. No amount of staining or dying makes it cohesive and I can't return a partially used veneer. If it works for your project, seems to be decent quality. Just be careful if you need something to look more similar to existing veneer as this, from my 20 years, is not all that common.

Easy to use
Needed 2" material for a restoration project. used a heat gun on LOW setting instead of iron because of position of repair. Also needed some 1-1/4 strips for the same project and this material cut easily and cleanly.
