Headband pad worked perfect, had 3m sticky tape and fit perfect. Ear pads look good, fit perfect!!!

Did the trick, good pad replacement for the sorry Sony pads that degraded.

Good Replacement for HD 449 Headphones. Snap on fit, fairly easy installation. Maybe a bit smaller fit over the ear than the OEM pads but at $14 it is better than buying another 150 - 200 dollar set of headphones. Actually, I am a bit disappointed by how the OEM part failed as it did, the padding inside just crumbled into powder leaving faux leather exterior so loose it then fell off. These replacements do fit and seem to be of equivalent or better quality, time will tell.

The headband, unfortunately, would not stay put! I finally got it to stay (at least for now) with double sided foamy tape.https://a.co/d/eSfYkWmI used two strips of about 3 inches each, running the full length of the pad. I also used alcohol to remove as much of the adhesive I could off the back of the headband pad itself, trying to get a good surface to adhere to.The headband part, unlike the earpads, is similar to the original material: thin and modest quality.If you've got Sennheiser 4XX series, the earpads would be a great change. Don't bother with the headband part.Earpads: I wish I'd bought these a long time ago! Much better feeling than the originals, even when the originals were new.They are soft and luxurious, like new Bose earpads. If only the headband part were similar...Oh, could they come in brown? A brown color would look awesome!

I have a pair of 14 year old HD428 that still sound great but the old pads literally disintegrated. I saw these and thought, why not, it's cheaper than new headsets I might as well try. They arrived the next day from ordering and snapped right on in about 3 seconds. They gave new life to great headphones that I thought I was going to have to replace.

Product as shown in pictures. I replaced the old pieces with these new ones and everything is great. The instructions of the video helped very much. Time will show about the quality.

I have an HD 461 which uses the same pads as the HD 280 Pro. Sennheiser does not have these in stock and says the HD 461 is discontinued so they won't stock parts, but the HD 280 Pro (must be Pro) is current. I could not find pads for these models anywhere. A lot of digging suggested that the 461 is part of the "400 series" which is an upgrade of an earlier "200 series". After watching videos of people replacing the pads on 400 series headphones, I took my pads off and they looked the same so I took a chance and bought this product and it works fine! Since I've only used it a few times I can't say if they'll hold up which is the only reason I did not give them 5 stars. They feel fine, and the price is similar to what Sennheiser charges.
