Very pretty sign package well

We are in the process of re-decorating my daughter's room since she is becoming a tween. She picked out this art print because she loved the quote. The artist did a nice job with creating the word font and book art on the page too. The photo paper on which it is printed is sufficient for it to be framed. However, when I received the first print, I thought it had been damaged in transit because there were terrible looking scratches in the upper left-hand corner. There were also white scuff marks on the black background in other areas of the picture. I contacted Amazon customer service, and the helpful representative sent a replacement print at no charge. (I also returned the damaged print back to Amazon at no charge.) The new print arrived, and the exact same unsightly scratches were still located in the upper left-hand corner along with the odd scuff marks. I checked my picture against the one posted on the Amazon site and discovered that those same scratches and scuff marks are actually part of the original print. I then realized that the artist had intended for those to be a part of the artwork. It's an interesting choice, but unfortunately it detracts from the actual artistry of the work. I would have sent this piece back again, but my daughter loves the print so much that she said she could live with the scratches and scuff marks. I'm just sad that the print looks damaged, so I took two stars off of this piece. If you intend to buy it, then please look closely at the black background in the picture on the Amazon site to make sure you are all right with how it's made.
