What a difference this new ringer button makes. The old one still worked but looked very bad from my point of view. No one else in the house seemed to notice. My wife never mentioned it.. The simplest and most telling indication of how this replacement impacts the appearance of the area that it is installed is ... our daughter came to visit not long after I installed the new ringer. She greets me with a compliment on how nice the door bell looks now. I was in shocked she had lifted her head from viewing her smart phone long enough be aware.Easy installation. Bright inner light. Exactly what I was looking for. A basic light up doorbell. It’s light is bright! Easy to install and works great!

This is a plastic doorbell that is a decent replacement for an old broken wired doorbell button. It has a built in light that apparently runs on low voltage AC, which is how doorbells operate. That would explain why they haven't switched to LED yet, since there are no AC powered LEDs that I am aware of.The button is easy to install and includes screws. Just screw in 2 wires and it's done. Works for front or rear doorbells and the button has a nice feel to it for something that is such low quality. Looks fine from a distance, I just didn't like how cheap it looks up close so I'm giving it a slightly above average rating. There's nothing really wrong with this button and it should last many years.

Great replacement for those that do not want a Ring style doorbell. Easy to install. Light is bright and works perfect.

It was easy to install; the price was great; shipping was fast and the light is so bright! People can easily see it at night. I love it and definitely recommend this product. I hate writing reviews but I have had this for several months and have not had an issue with it. We even bought another to replace our neighbors doorbell and her door faces the road, the light from the doorbell is great! I will add photos later if I remember to ever do it.

I installed 6 months ago still works and easy to instal

Needed to replace the old door chime button due to a burnt out bulb. Couldn't believe that I could buy a whole new button for the price of just the bulb. Removed old one and installed new. Screws were included and bit right into the existing wood easily. Wiring on this is really straight forward. Just two wires, and if you install incorrectly the bell won't ring. Simple, easy and works great. Really like the light from this switch, bright enough that even with porch light on it still glows with a nice warm light. Definitely, five stars!

LOVE! The button part of our old doorbell was broken (shattered) when we purchased our house last year. I finally decided to stop putting off replacing it and buy one on Amazon since it was so cheap, hoping we could DIY the installation. Good news: installation is easy and took less than 5 mins!! I purchased the "black" color and it perfectly matches our oil rubbed bronze hardware and does not look as cheap as I thought it would. This is also a lighted doorbell that puts out a good amount of light.Although it might be a no-brainer for some, I was skeptical about how easy installation would actually be before I ordered, so I've included directions below for those who are also worried about DIY-ing this project!Tools Needed: ScrewdriverInstallation: Unscrew old doorbell. When you pull it away from the wall, you will see two wires connected; one green and one red. Each wire is wrapped around a separate screw. Carefully loosen each screw the wires are wrapped around until wires are free. Loosen underside screws on new doorbell, wrap a wire around each, tighten, and mount against wall. Install using the two screws provided. EASY.PS- Don't judge the horizontal mount. This is how our old doorbell was installed and I didn't want to make new holes in the siding :) Please also excuse the dirty house- Spring cleaning is in order!

The doorbell was easy to install, lighted up as soon as the wires were connected to show it’s working. It was exactly what I needed to replace a worn out doorbell that stopped working.

I really like the look of this doorbell, especially for the price, but I did NOT like the backlit colour of the doorbell once it was wired in! It lights up with an old style yellowish colour.. so I actually connected it in a way that didn’t activate the back-light and it looks great that way. Cost vs product is worth the purchase

Although it is made of plastic but it is good quality and so easy to install . Terminals sit flush with case .
