Had to return these as they look like someone had already tried to repair the very poorly prefixed mountings. And I can see why, the screws used to fix the mounts to the shelves are very short poss around 1cm, I appreciate these are more ornamental than use as shelving but in my opinion, these fixings are not meant to bear any weight.Overall very disappointed, which is a shame as they do look nice.

I began with the large one and after drilling several holes, despite following instructions on measuring , I was always a centimetre out. Re-examining the shelf I saw my problem was due to one side not being upright enough slightly sloping inwards. Easy to not spot it initially but I got round the problem. The last two shelves were a doddle to put up. They look wonderful and the distressed blue effect stands out on a white wall. Obviously not strong enough to take heavy stuff but plants, photos etc will enhance this nifty trio!

Was looking forward to these shelves but when they arrived I was really disappointed.Damage to edges which was clearly noticeable.Actual Wood was very Lightweight and Cheap Material.Rear Fixings not very strong at all.Overall Extremely Disappointed.

These shelves are lightweight and look very cheap they could not hold a pencil without folding. Definitely not worth the money.

**AVOID IF WANTING A MODERN ‘floating shelf’ - the modern system uses a bar which you fix to the wall and is consequently flush, and easy to get level, this is the old ‘cheap’ system of two separate screws which hook into a back plate, consequently won’t ever be 100% flush, and very very tricky to get perfectly level. I like my shelves to be properly secure and 100% level which is close to impossible to achieve with these.

So easy to set up they are so light too I’m not sure on how much weight they can hold as I’ve only got light objects on the shelves but they are so lovely to look

These look great and are very light. I can not fault them but I didn’t read the details properly. They are not deep enough to put paperback books on, but make great decor and lightweight displays. My mum has them in her kitchen now.

Although the actual shelves look nice and seem to be of decent quality for the price, the hardware to mount them is extremely shoddy and the heads of the screws snapped off when I was screwing them in. I had to go and buy proper screws which delayed my process of getting them on the wall.
