Well made just not for me
I have small hands and have been looking for options to add a bit more grip to my Fuijifilm X Pro 3. This thumb rest does fit nicely on the camera but I didn't realize until I installed it that my thumb would never go that high anyway. Maybe better for larger hands.

Great for the Fujifilm X100F
I've been visiting London (from the US) for a week with my X100F, which I've had for a month, and this thumb grip came in the mail just before I boarded the plane to the UK. The grip slides into the hot shoe very nicely and snugly--really a perfect fit with no movement whatsoever. I also love that the white lettering/branding is on the underside of the thumb rest, so all you can see is the solid color of the thumb grip (my camera and thumb grip are solid black). It really looks slick. With the thumb grip, I feel MUCH more comfortable carrying the X100F with one hand, while walking down the street (with no strap, even), and I'm able to shoot with one hand, though I usually don't. It offers very nice stability for transport, though. I absolutely love that the thumb grip doesn't need to be tightened down--there are no screws, and none are needed, as the fit is so perfect in the hot shoe mount. Finally, I was a little worried I wouldn't be able to easily access my shutter/ISO dial since this thumb grip has no elbow/hinge, but that hasn't been an issue at all. On the occasion that I need to access the dial and I need to squeeze my fingers in there, it's super easy to slide the thumb grip out just a bit, adjust the dial, then slide the thumb grip back into place. But, that's not necessary all the time--usually just when I need to turn the dial more than a few clicks. To only make one or two clicks on the dial, I can leave the grip in the hot shoe as is. Because of the perfect fit in the hot shoe mount, there's no risk of the grip falling out when it's pulled out half way or anything. Quite nice. When I bought this for under twenty bucks as a trial because I didn't want to pay sixty for the version with the elbow when I wasn't sure how well I'd like a thumb grip, I never imagined it'd be of such high quality. I'm super pleased and highly recommend the product.

The problem with Thumb Exhaustion
My thumb is very important to me, because I have only one spare. This device has helped a lot, though it does make changing the ISO and the shutter speed more difficult - a small price to pay to help keep the thumb exhaustion down. If you are anything like me, you use your thumb All. Day. Long. For some reason, the way I do things, one of my thumbs seems to be always involved. I am too old to change my habits now.I am only giving it four stars because I still have a little bit, just a weensy, of thumb exhaustion (TE) at the end of the day if I have been shooting with the camera, then bowling, then shooting again. If this cylce goes on for more than 9 hours, TE rears its ugly head and bites me right in my ying-yang. Sorry for the gross details, but this thumb rest has ONE job to do, and I expect it to work every time for the amount of hard earned money they want for the damn thing. You try milking a cow with a tired thumb. It's not fun, and you're not funny. We should probably end this conversation right here and now.

COOL
Gives me a place to rest my thumb. Doesn't really get in the way too much. Makes my X100F look different than allll the other Fuji X100F's it's always around, so I don't take the wrong person's camera by accident and see the photos I'm not supposed to see on their card.

Works with the X100V
great little addition to the X100V, provides more grip and we all know that a hot shoe on that camera is pointless. I wish Fuji would revise the grip on the X100 series so we don't have to buy this. The material is excellent but the build quality and dimension is not 100%, you can see in the picture that it doesn't go all the way in and there is a very small gaps where the body meets the grip. It's nothing really, but i thought a potential customer shall know about this . the grip doesn't sit flush with the camera hot shoe.Overall, i am satisfied with my purchase, and will be looking for another grip that is maybe designed more for the X100V.. i still have a feeling that this is for the older models but on here its titled for the X100V

Perfect for original Fujifilm X100
Fits like a glove with no wiggle, and does not block any controls. Essential if you have an old X100!

Fuji X-Pro3 – more stability but interferes just a bit
I really wanted to like this thumb rest but I can't give it a full 5 stars. The grip itself provides stability but makes it harder to adjust the shutter speed / ISO dial. I know, I know I can set the front and rear command dials to adjust shutter speed and ISO but I still want to be able to easily use the dial. When I'm using my 23mm f2 I remove the thumb rest since I don't necessarily need it. But when I need to switch to my 56mm or 50-140mm then I put the thumb rest.

Prefer over the Lensmate
This thumb grip along with the hinged Lensmate version were two I had ordered to see which I prefer. After using both for a week I found I prefer this one over the Lensmate. I had Lensmate thumb grips before but in this case I found it overpriced for its features. The LM unit blocks the back wheel and the AEL button until you swing it out of the way. The Haoge does not require me to do that and makes for a more rapid workflow. And although the Lensmate does give me more room when I want to change shutter speeds, I am also able to do that with the Haoge with little effort involved.

少し短め
Fujifilm X-pro3用に購入。品質は問題なし。ただ、たしかに短いです。でも無いよりあった方が親指の置場が出来ます。

Bit fiddly
For £24.99 this is quite pricey for what it is, that said it does make a noticeable difference when holding my X100V and is worth it for that, however, I don’t have particularly dumpy fingers but I’m finding I have to slide it back out of the hotshoe a little whenever I want to adjust the shutter speed dial which is a bit of a pain. Despite the inconvenience it is useful.

Not a perfect fit but does the job
Looks great, colour match not bad but doesn’t sit right into the hot shoe mount. Fuji would greatly benefit doing their own version. If they did I’d likely ditch this and get Fuji’s own.

Mal ajusté pour le Xpro3
Cela flotte sur le Xpro3 dommage. Risque de le perdre.
