Nice red color, guitar itself needed some work to make it more comfortable to play. Fretboard needed cleaned, frets polished, strings on it are low quality, so replaced them with nice brand name ones. Adjusted truss rod, back of neck was slightly rough. I used some fine grit sandpaper and in a short time had it glassy smooth. This is a light weight guitar, and the neck is a medium thin C shaped. This is good for a new or younger players. Pickups do have some straty sounding tones. Gig bag is just a vinyl dust cover, no padding. Amp works and sounds okay for a starter amp.

I actually got my shipment a day earlier than expected -- thanks Amazon!!! Over all a very nice looking guitar, the color is very nice (I got the Grey Silver package.) Not knowing any thing about guitars, never having even picked one up, I had my brother (who has been playing for over 20 years) and his son (who has been playing over 10 years)look at the guitar to get their opinion. At first they could not get it to hold tune, but with their knowledge they finally got it. So if your a beginner I hope you have access to someone who knows about tuning, I am very thankful I did. Once they got the guitar tuned both of them played it, and said "it is a great beginning guitar"(which is what it is advertised as). Told me that once I learn to play I may want to look into spending some money for a "good" guitar, but over all from an experienced musician(s), this is a great buy especially for the price. As far as the amp, I didn't really ask them about the amp, I think it sounds good, very clear and crisp. It is small and compact which makes storage very easy as well as for travel. The canvas bag is okay, it is what I expected (for the price I paid for the package) and will do okay for this guitar. Am sure that once I get better at playing and purchase a more pricy guitar will also buy a good case/cover.One thing that I will suggest for those of you buying this package is to invest in an electronic tuner. The package says you get a tuner, but you get a pitch pipe. I actually ordered the Snark SN-1 Tuner  Snark SN-1 Tuner with the Guitar, but have not gotten it yet. My brother also suggest to get one as well.So I guess over all a GREAT buy. Fast friendly service from Amazon as always.

When it arrived the speaker 🔊 was flopping around in the cabinet it was held in place with 4 screws in extremely porous particle board the only way to secure it was with JB Liquid Weld epoxy...it's fine now better than factory...

Would have given it 5 stars but I was under the impression that the guitar I ordered was gray and black, well instead I received a black and orange/red sunburst colored guitar. Now, I ain't complaining because frankly I think this color is a lot cooler than just the black and gray, BUT they should really specify which color the buyer is actually getting. I have no issues with this guitar otherwise. Everything was as expected (besides the color). No it does not come with a stand, but if you know how to read, it tells you that it does not come with a stand. I think this is a great buy, especially for beginners on electric, more advanced would probably want a nicer guitar, but this is great for someone who is just learning and its a great looking guitar too. I have seen reviews that say this guitar has problems with staying tuned: well, it has a whammy-bar, and whammy-bars will take the guitar out of tune when used, so keep that in mind. otherwise no complains! Came in great condition, and even received free 2 day shipping! big thumbs up! Just wish the advertising showed the right color.

I got this guitar for my 7 year old twins to learn how to play and it met my expectations. The guitar feels good in my hands and I expect it'll hold up well as they are learning and experimenting when they will be rougher with it in early on. They've already broken one pick and I expect I'll have to replace the strings sooner or later with better strings after they are rough on the first 2 sets that are included.My only complaint is the packaging which is the reason I gave it 3 stars otherwise I would have given it 4. The guitar was in a plastic bag, thin foam bag, and black guitar bag. The amp is in a single ply cardboard box. Both the guitar and amp are not secured in the original packaging so the guitar and amp can slide around during shipping. As a result, a small piece of the red finish where neck attaches to the body chipped off. It is visual only and I was able to carefully glue it back in place. I would notice every time I play but the kids won't notice it and I'm sure they'll scratch it or chip the edge eventually so it's not worth pursuing.

Pro: Overall quality of product was good, no issues.Great action on the frets and comfortable to play.The quality of tone is what I would expect from a much more expensive guitar.ConA users manual that explains the knobs and switches would really be helpful to those who are buying an electric for the first time.

I wasn't really expecting much due to the price.. However it turns our to be a good beginner guitar for the price. My only complaint it the Amp. It honestly sounds horrible with lots of hissing and feedback. It sounds decent on my fender Amp. My son loves it.

I bought this guitar kit about a year ago and have played it every day since. It's perfect for a learning guitar, the strings are durable and it holds tune pretty well. There's a bit of background hum, probably because the coils are low-end, but it's not loud enough to cause trouble. I've played around with more expensive guitars that play better, have better action, react better to a lighter touch, but for the price it's hard to beat this kit.If you're looking to get serious about guitars, I'd probably look for a better, used guitar, but if you're like me and just looking to learn at home, this kit will get the job done.

I bought this for my 10 year old for his birthday. I’m not a guitar expert, but I can tell you that this guitar sounds terrible. It’s cheaply made. Just tuning it broke a string. I would recommend spending a little more money and invest in a guitar that lasts more than a week and actually sounds like a guitar.

This guitar kit is not a good purchase for a student. The guitar is not able to be properly tuned. When tuning the open notes on all six strings they ring true. All other notes on all six strings ring way too sharp not true. On the returned guitar the G note played on the first string third fret did not ring at all. Very bad for a beginner to hear the wrong tones when learning the guitar. A beginner should not begin learning on this instrument. The replacement guitar is also as above with the first string G note acceptable but not as true as it should be. I would like to return the replacement guitar and exchange it for the Donner guitar perhaps will have better luck with that instrument.

The guitar appears to be really good quality for the price and it comes with lots of acc. Amp makes a little humming noise. Just adjust the gain and it will almost go away. Really good for beginner kids and adults got it for my kid but i play with it to. hopefully by next year we will be able to play eruption oh and it comes with a whammy bar.

Bought for my daughter for Christmas, without knowing anything about guitars. The guitar constantly goes out of tune, the strings sit too far of the fret board and cannot be adjusted. The neck came warped which was noticed after I took it to t repair shop to see if it was fixable. They said the repair would cost more then the guitar was worth. Two months after Christmas, when she received it, and they will not let me return it. DO NOT PURCHASE.

After receiving this the amp stopped working within a week very dissatisfied with this for the price of the bundle. Single mom with single income ripped off recieved garbage product not worth the hassle to complian for replacement will probably do the same thing
