Fit my 93 perfectly

I have a 1999 10th anniversary Miata with a 6-speed and my factory OEM wood shift knob was pretty worn. I looked around for about a week trying to decide on a replacement shift knob. Aluminum shift knobs were out of the question because if you don't have driving gloves the aluminum gets very hot sitting in the sun. I came across this carbon fiber shift which has the 5-speed pattern and though this company does not make one with a 6-speed pattern I decided to purchase it because it looked pretty good in the photo. Well, up receiving the knob, I was pleased to feel it had some weight to it as well as having an excellent quality finish. It screwed directly to the threads of the shifter rod with no problems. I really like that it came with a lock nut so you can adjust the height of the knob and lock it in place with the lock nut.I highly recommend this product but BE WARNED! The knob, to me, is THAT nicely made. It is like a jewel and though I've had it on the car for a couple of months now, I still sit, stare and admire the quality of the knob, which can be distracting if you're driving - don't stare and drive - haha! Seriously it is that nice. Buy it NOW!

An excellent product. Fit onto my gear shift lever (Miata 19999 10th Anniversary edition) without any problems. Looks and feels like a high-quality product. Sits a bit high on the lever, so my shift lever is now effectively a bit longer than before.I did not realize this was a 5-speed specific knob -- don't believe it was mentioned on the online ad. I have a six-speed, so the graphic on the top of the knob is a bit mis-leading. I'm planning to just paint it over.Gautam

This a wonderful replacement for the stock shift knob in my '14 Miata Sport. It fits perfectly, is easy to adjust so the shift pattern is properly placed and feels great in use. Every Miata owner I meet tells me how cool it looks and asks where I got it.

I bought the shift knob for my 2007 Mazda Neo: it is easy to install and screwed on smoothly, however as Kyungho outlined, the knob doesn't fill the shift shaft as well as the original Mazda knob meaning that there is qutie a prominent gap (about 3cm/1.5 inches) in which you can see the metal of the shaft.If Empire Racing could find a way to fix this (by making the knob longer and having it flar out distally to fit nicely with the shift shaft) it would pretty much be a flawless product

Solid, high quality part. Looks great installed on my Miata and makes the driving experience feel a little more special. Also shipped surprisingly fast. Really happy with this, I love carbon fiber.
