I had to replace hardware and these fit almost perfectly. The finish and weight is very nice. They look very good.

We bought the Baldwin Bighorn lock when we had to replace the back door. The door installer did not have to drill holes in the new door for the Baldwin lock because the lock is designed to fit standard pre-drilled holes in new doors. That is a time saver and eliminates expensive errors. The Baldwin Bighorn looks great on the new door and works beautifully, the carpenter told me this lock is a smart lock which allows us to reset the new door to use the same key as the key we use on the existing front door by following trivial instructions that come with this Baldwin lockset, so no locksmith needed. We both love the looks and quality of the Baldwin Bighorn.

This is a nice door handle! Easy to install. Smooth. Dogs can't open the door now, yet the inside knob is oval so grasping and turning works for me. So I now have a great handle on a crappy door! Wel, at least something looks good....

I purchased to replace an almost identical lock that was over 25 years old and because it matched the old lock very closely and had the quick rekey feature. My old lock's internal spring broke and the part was no longer available.After installing it I realized that the part that makes contact with your thumb is PLASTIC! I wanted to remove the lock and return it because plastic is not likely to outlast metal. I kept it only because I am leaving on a trip and a new different lock would not arrive prior to my departure.If you buy this lock, be aware that the part that contacts your thumb is plastic, as well as two small parts inside. Perhaps it will last, perhaps it will not. Only time will tell. Whether it is worth paying double or more for a 100% metal lock with quick rekey feature is a matter of personal opinion. I would have if I was not leaving on a trip. Heads up!

Replaced the same lock from Baldwin in a different style after 25 years it was time..well made

So far so good. Match is almost perfectly with the door, still sturdy and as if it'll last for a lifetime but who knows. So far I'm definitely happy with it even though the strike plates that came with it do not match my door since they stay steel frame. They should have included Square as well as the rounded cornetd for the strike plates
