This is the high quality original part...buy this one
I purchased this same item from this same vendor in 2019. I am back buying another after 5 years :)No reason to spend a little less to get the non OEM version. The first time I had no heat, this time it was tripping the breaker. I figured it out by unplugging pumps and heaters from the control board until I found what was tripping the fuse. Easy to swap. no leaks, manufacturing is high quality. Comes with everything you need to replace. Shut the valves, unplug wires, loosen mounting nuts, unscrew the ends, swap the gaskets, then reverse to put it back together.

Great quality!
No fault of the product but we had to find a YouTube tutorial to take out old one and put new one back in. It answered a lot of questions. Well made and works perfectly!!

Mine was not what was pictured
I ordered a direct replacement water heater based on the model number and the picture. The picture I had included two threaded mounting studs to attach to the mounting frame in the spa. The one that arrived had no mounting studs. Since my wife wanted me to hurry up and finish my overhaul of an aged spa with a new motor, circuit board and heater - all were either needed or desirable - I wasn't going to wait. It was nice that it included the pipe collars and gaskets, and all fit just as original. It heats faster than the old heater did. I just wish I had received what was pictured. I assume the original was held in place for a reason, but thus far after a couple of months this is working just fine.

Main breaker off before you start changing!!
Fixed my heater that quit working. Had power to the old heater assembly when it was running and supposed to be heating. So I figured it had to be the heater. Put the new one in. It came with the 2 needed new gaskets. Works great. Just remember to have the main power off to the tub before you do anything.

wanted to just swap it out and thankfully it works great once again
My approximately 10 year old Keys Outdoors hot tub was no longer heating, bummer. Did my testing with my volt meter and determined my heater element was toast and decided to order this exact replacement and not just get a new element and re-use the metal canister it was housed in, wanted to just swap it out and thankfully it works great once again. Hope it lasts as long as the other one, so far so good.

The warranty and the customer service is a joke.
The heater and the company are a joke. I bought this heater assembly in December and by April the heater quit working. I checked for voltage at the terminals as instructed by the seller and had the proper voltage. I also check the ohms as instructed by the seller and it came back open. The seller said that I would have to pay to have the unit shipped back to them so they can look at it but they can not guarantee that it’s covered. The named off a number of things that could be wrong that they will not cover. I can say that I my water is very clean and I had just replaced the filters in December. The seller also tried to say that it was my water quality that caused the heater to go bad. I will not be sending the unit back to them because I will cost me just as much in shipping as it would to just buy a new heater. Please do your research before buying form this company.
