My daughter is afraid of the dark and always needed multiple night lights, but not anymore. She only uses 1 mode and that's just the non blinking mode. The colors are easily distinguishable from the next color. There are 3 of each color in the rainbow pattern. From the top there is purple, blue, green, yellow and red. There are 10 light strands. My daughter never remembers to unplug these and we have not experienced any issues with over heating. I would have been a bit happier if they had been a little wider to cover the whole wall and a little longer to reach to the bottom of the window at least, but my daughter loves them and they suit our needs. Perfect night light alternative.

I took these to EDC to decorate my shiftpod and they were beautiful. The fairy light string is thin wire so the shape is adjustable rather than if they just hung straight down. You can pull them straight down or curl them. I curled then a little so they didn't hang too low and get caught in anything in our tent.

Technically works fine out of the package. I tried a few different usb ports to see if I could get it brighter (yes, I turned the remote brightness all the way up), but as I was unraveling the little rolls to put them up on the wall, I saw that just the second-to-last string had been soldered on backwards! Instead of purple to red, it's red to purple. It looks pretty silly, and with my limited knowledge of led resistance, I'd guess that backwards string could account for the dimness of the whole curtain.update: finished unraveling the coils, the second to last from the other end had been soldered so that the loop between the main line and the purple led and the loop between two blue leds are linked together, so that I can't straighten out the string, which is a lot harder to accept.I understand that manufacturing stuff like this is tiny fussy work that takes a lot of attention to make at all, and mistakes happen, but this is a bummer.was really looking forward to letting my neighbors know they live in a gayborhood, but I'll have to find another method.

I hung these on the underside of a loft bed with a set of sheer curtains. It looks great! I like that I can adjust the brightness of the lights so that they can be used as a night light.

I used a sheet white curtain on my canopy bed and the effect was amazing!They were a little shorter than I expected so don't expect them to be ceiling to floor length.

1st box we ordered, we didn't get. Re-ordered and O M G!! They aren't long to the floor but have a cascading effect. They look great in my tweens room.
