Clockwise [DVD]

A brilliant film. I bought it for my son because he has been enjoying Fawlty Towers. This is John Cleese, doing what he does best. Silly, funny, slapstick and exasperated comedy - hysterically funny.The clothing and the cars look very 1980s, but I don't care. It's Cleese doing his thing, and it's brilliant.

A good film for its time, John Cleese in the 'Fawlty Towers' mode, great comedy along with Alison Steadman as his long suffering wife, it does get a little silly half way through but overall worth watching and alls well that ends well!

Just watched this DVD tonight, and a fantastic funny film.I saw this film many years ago either on Sky TV or the old VHS release, but I am sure there is a line of dialogue missing from the DVD which I seem to remember: Alison Steadman telling chatterbox Joan Hickson to either shut up or belt up during the film, which is not present on the DVD. Is my memory playing tricks, or was there such a scene/line of dialogue in a previous version of the film? Anyone have a previous version of this (TV broadcast, VHS, US release ?) or someone who also recalls this scene.

A brilliant film, watched it several times. It's funny and every minute is gripping. It has a good cast and great characters. Not a single swear word or violence or gore, a good enjoyable old film.

Good film, shame theres no subtitles

I bought this to watch again with my grandchildren (young teens). It was a lesson in history for them to see how we used to have to use phone boxes! We all laughed and laughed.

Quite simply , one of the funniest films Cleese has ever done . I can watch this over and over and never get tired of it . Why it isn't a better known comedy classic is beyond me .

Fantastic movie the cast was very did the job getting me through some hard times brightened up my life and put a smile on my face. Service was excellent came when they said it was coming many thanks take care be safe well V 😀😀🇬🇧
