Quilt Big: Bigger Blocks for Faster Finishes Paperback – December 4, 2018

You can make a baby or throw size quilt tops using well known quilt blocks that are much larger in dimension. A section of the book is for making the blocks and another section for incorporating into your large block quilt.

I was looking for quilt patterns that I could use to make larger quilts. I didn’t want anything too complicated but also not ordinary. This book has so many lovely patterns and I will definitely be making at least 4 of them to start with.

I borrowed Quilt Big: Bigger Blocks for Faster Finishes from our library and fell in love with it. The blocks are traditional but enlarged for a more modern look. The larger blocks allow you to complete a quilt faster. Directions are provided for quilt fronts and backs along with basic quilt construction. Great for all levels of quilters.

I wish that the patterns using the big blocks were all the same size, that way you could mix and match the different patterns!

Hard cover book with lots of colorful Bold pics in good sizes. Easy to read directions and provides written sizes. Good buy.

I love the large pieces in the quilts. Makes for faster completion. Just wish they had included some directions regarding increasing size of overall quilt without requiring a lot of complicated math. It’s a great addition to my quilting library.
