This light beacon works great! It looks awesome on my windmill. The light it puts out is not overwhelming but is just enough to know something is there in the dark. Perfect choice for my windmill project.

I live in the country. We use these to fine are driveway at night. They stay on at least 9 hours.

These are not fancy and ultra durable, but for the money they do a good job. I got two because they were so inexpensive. I put them on my skiff when it’s moored out so no one smashes it in the night. The flash isn’t super bright, but bright enough. And you don’t have to add batteries as it’s solar! For the money and no expensive c or d batteries, I’m now keeping a few of these around. So far I’ve got a summer out of one. Although it looks like there is a little condensation inside, it still works fine.

Over a year and still working

Set 2 lights up around noon on a very cloudy overcast day...I didn't expect much because most of the sunlight they were getting to charge was ambient...Got up to see if the lights were working around 4a.m...Both lights were blinking very brightly...I can't wait to see what a regular sunny day will do...I will order more as needed...I i said they seem to work really well with only a minimal amount of daylight to charge them.

100% happy with light. It does the job.

Bought product a little over a year ago. I placed it out by the road as signal for our bus stop (also makes a great marker at night to know where our driveway is). It worked great until last night at 10:04:21 est when the battery exploded. Left to do errands this morning and noticed it was shattered everywhere. Reviewed our cameras and watched the light blinking, then it stopped for a couple seconds, then exploded. Luckily no one was around or it could have caused some damage to them. I tried to add the video of it exploding and the picture of the battery, but it keeps failing to upload onto Amazon from my iphone. I gave this 3 stars only because it worked solid for a little over a year before it exploded - also since there was no harm to life or damage to property.

The media could not be loaded. Very cool little light so far, it has no on-off switch and comes completely dead of power but what I did was set it in the sun for three days, the first day I got it I put it in the sun at 11 a.m. and took it inside at 6p.m. and put it underneath a fluorescent light overnight so it stays off, then I repeated that for 3 days total.I've got the Qoolteck yellow flashing light with an on-off switch and I can honestly say that these are brighter.I will keep you updated on how long they last, currently using at construction site very nice bright flashing light, you can see it reflecting off nearby objects very well I highly recommend.I will keep you updated as time goes by, we are coming onto the stormy time of year here.
