Bought this for my ten year old and upon using it the first time, he was raving about it. It’s a great indoor activity for the family. You can play with up to four people (the booklet provides a breakdown of games to play). The most difficult part of the assembly is the backboard but totally manageable. We haven’t used it much but so far it seems durable. Other reviewers complained about not being sturdy so I made sure to tightly secure the screws. Totally stable and doesn’t shake while playing. Very satisfied with this purchase.

The package arrived with a lot of damage, the outer box was torn and misshapen (did not deduct stars because it appeared to be a shipping issue). I was sure the game would be broken but everything inside was intact! I was worried it wouldn't be sturdy enough but once it's assembled it's quite sturdy. It did take half a day to put together. The rims are real basketball rims, heavy duty. We've only been using it since Christmas so not sure how the sensors and the vinyl ball return will hold up but so far it's gotten a lot of use and it's none the worse for wear. Just beware, it's VERY big, even folded up so be sure you've got the space for it.

The media could not be loaded. Folds up nice and solid! Instructions were kinda bad and I had to use one bar on the back in a different position to hold the ball rerurn net. Sometimes the nets catch on the arm that counts the shots but I figure I can cut them down a bit to stop that.

Perfect size for my 6+ft tall hubby to compete with our 12yr old at the same time. It's just like the ones at the arcade places, but with the smaller basketballs.Took 2 adult men 2 hrs to put together.

I am amazingly surprised about this find and the fact it came about $100 cheaper that the most popular system out there (Pop a shot).I am unable to talk durability as I just put this thing together, however her is what I can tell you:- Sturdiness- this is an amazingly sturdy set. Metal poles around it. Nice thick backboard. This does not look like a toy at all.- Assembly - this is the part I always hate when buying an item this large; putting it together. However, I was pleasantly surprised when my wife and I were done. It was painless and very easy due to the easy to read instructions and each item is labeled with letters. Just set all items together by letters before starting and you will see how easy it is.- Other Comments: shopping was blazingly fast and the backboard requires 3 AA batteries. You can play up to 8 different games and the instructions on how to set up for each game are included.Overall, I am thrilled for how well the instructions made for an easy install and the sturdiness of this hoop set. I can see this thing lasting for many years as it is in our basement.

This was supposed to come with two of these #10 elbow pipes but one was missing so we couldn’t complete the set up. This is a painful set up (literally hurts your hands) it took us two mechanically inclined men about an hour to get 90% of it set up. Tried calling customer service to get the missing part and it was a 122 minute wait time. Not sure when I’ll have time to wait that long, so for the time being we have half built hoops sitting there taking up space teasing our 4 year old. Wish I would have gone with the name brand pop-a-shot... I’m also frustrated it doesn’t have digital scorers. It has a digital read out but the manual paddles are flimsy and I expect they will break in no time. Save yourself the hassle and buy another product.Update, called back still a 106 minute wait time. Filled out lengthy online form a week ago and still haven’t heard anything. So frustrating...

Only product with strong backboard.I've seen dozen of broken units and most often it's the backboard. I see this lasting for years with no issues. The metal frame is also very solid and strong. Stop wasting time shopping and get this one - it's even a great price.

We’ve just had this for a week and seems to be working well, however very difficult to put together. Pieces arrived without holes in the proper spots and had to drill new ones.
