Great swap for 1000cc bikes. Have gotten two over the past two years for two bikes. Doesn’t stretch much and amazing quality. Recommend for anyone for race bikes or around town

My go to chain brand and type due to the balance of lower weight and high durability. The gold plating looks great and helps reduce rust if it gets wet. Installed this on my ninja 300. Bought this slight longer chain to save money as it was cheaper than the standard length (106 links), and just cut off the extra links with the RK chain install tool. I'm used to seeing new chains stretch considerably right after install, but I didn't see that with this chain. My bike doesn't put out much torque, so that may be a factor in this. Can't go wrong with this chain of you're able to spend a bit more for it over the cheaper chains.

Of course RK makes a quality product. This link has a nice finish, is precisely made and comes with the necessary O-rings and grease for proper installation. As long as you use a good quality chain tool, assembly and riveting will go smoothly. The only issue to be aware of is that the copper alloy rivet pins are soft for ease of installation, so you need to apply pressure evenly and slowly to avoid flaring them out too much and cracking them. A digital caliper is very helpful to check the pin diameter to confirm proper installation.

I haven't used it yet because I bought a chain I thought was a good deal for a spare from Amazon the master link was missing.I thought it be easier to just order a new master link then to go through returning the chain I was wrong a couple weeks later I took a good look at the chain and it looked used so I measured it and it's at the max stretched point I don't think new chains come maxed out I only noticed because I saw a little surface rust so I magnified it and saw dirt it looks like someone swapped it out and returned it and nobody checked it they just sold it to me lesson learned

Seems like i was sent a 525. It’s wider than my other links (520 chain)

So far about 6,000 miles on this chain with my triumph tiger 900 it's been holding up great. I commute 150 miles round trip daily and I ride hard. I try to oil my chain at least every other day but I'm not great about it. This chain has been handling my punishment so far.

Good quality mid-end chain for the money. I found the chain was easy to install with the right tools on hand, and the package came complete with everything needed to get my bike back on the road. Included master link rivet type and extra lube. I think the chain has good build quality and did my research to come away with this one - supports up to 200HP in the 520 x 120 link version, which I went with. I would purchase this again if my chain needs replacing.
