You simply can't work properly without these in your tool arsenal. They may look like a star bolt but the are CERTAINLY not and will ruin your day. I made this mistake trying to chsnge the battery on my 2015 Audi. It's under the driver's seat which it's bolted to the floor with what looks like a standard torx. DANGER! WRONGO BUDDO! It is a triple spline bolt and a torx will absolutely WRECK that bolt. I made that mistake but didn't totally destroy it. I was able to tap my correct tool into the bolt,making the groves good again for future removal. Good, strong, hardened steel made this a great addition to my tool set. Well made tools in a nice case for a reasonable price. The combination CAN NOT BE BEAT! Buy with confidence.

If you are having any doubts about the strength and quality of this product I can assure you that you will be 100% satisfied. I was a bit apprehensive not buying a big brand name for much more money but these have proven their weight in gold to me. I had to remove rusty stuck driveline bolts from a 50 year old VW Beetle and these performed flawlessly. I hammered them into rusty gummed up bolts and put well over 150 foot pounds on them and it took out all 48 bolts and came out still looking brand new. I was actually surprised by their strength.

For the price this is a great tool kit.

Works, helped with my Volkswagen rear seat removal. The box is terrible though and doesn't really hold the bits in place. I'd rather it be in a bag if that's the case to save some plastic.

Don't hesitate to buy this set. It's a great value and better made than expected. I had some stubborn Audi seat bolts to remove and I put a lot of torque on the 10mm bit in this set. I was really expecting the bit to break, but the bolt broke loose instead. I'm impressed!

You can use a single square socket frequently in place of a triple. But when the bolts are in tight you may need a triple square. These are very cheap and effective at doing what they are meant to do. I am not sure how long they will last in the long run.

Like many other tools that you will rarely use but will bring a project to a screeching halt this is an afford kit to keep in your box.

I bought these to use on repairs of my European cars (Audi BMW Volkswagen) as they have some triple square bolts under the bonnet/ hood. I am a shade tree mechanic, so I didn’t see the need to spend extra cash, these Renekton brand TS’s were the right buy for me, good value for your money. I ended up using 8/10 mm sizes the most, but it’s good to have the complete set. These have worked out great for me, I would recommend these Renekton triple squares to anyone who needs a good set at a budget price.
