A plus five star book
I have read more than 300 books on eastern philosophy.....but no book comes close to this. I am really enlighted. Readers, if u miss this one, you will truly miss to know your real self. I will re-read more than I could imagine. Chinamyaji , I Love You.

Simply Brilliant
A beautifully written book with poetic language and a bombastic style, but easy to understand with a detailed explanation for every verse. Best of all four Ashtavakra Gitas I have read by different authors. What the buyer/reader should remember is it is not for a basic level Vedanta student , not even middle. Almost at the top of the ladder students , the very serious seekers who are at the blink of realising the universal self are the most appropriate readers for this book. Ashtavakra and Swami Chinmayananda also warn the lower level students not to follow that book as misunderstanding the verses or instructions given by the sage will cause chaos and misery to the student. Armed with this knowledge , one should buy , read, enjoy , abide by the rules and be liberated once and for all, with the great Maharshi's grace.

A must book for spiritual seeker
The book is a must read for a spiritual seeker. It tells that we all are souls, not body or mind. Our ego always tells we are doer, but soul can never be a doer. when we are walking, reading or eating. It all heppens due to mode of material nature. Soul is not doer or enjoyer. soul is just a witness.Sorrow, happiness happen in the mind. Bliss happens in pure conciuosness. It is around 500 pages, only rs285.English translation is good by the aurthor.
