Amazon Basics Oversized Quilt Bed Set, Embossed Coverlet and Sham - Twin, Dark Gray Diamond

Very pleased with the coverlet. The quality is impressive considering the low price point. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money, so was expecting to “get what I paid for”, and to my delight, this purchase far exceeded my expectations! It washed beautifully and after washing, the lightweight fabric has a very soft feel and nice looking embossed pattern that is heat stamped to hold the layers together. (not quilted with thread) I have washed it multiple times and expected it would not hold up to repeated washings. It still looks like new and it just feels better with each washing and I am normally a die-hard cotton consumer, but this is a great fabric. The coverlet is lightweight and dries really fast on a medium dryer setting. It is warm without added weight but on a warm evening it feels cool to the touch. I rarely write reviews but I was so impressed I wanted to help someone who might be on the fence about purchasing this to go ahead and buy it. One last thing....it is extra long so it can be tucked under the end of the mattress and it doesn’t pull loose.

I bought these to cover the couch where the dogs like to lay down. We fold them lengthwise to cover the seating area and tuck in at the back. They’ve been excellent for that purpose. They are quite long— other twin covers I’ve bought are far shorter. Two of these cover the entire seating area of our sectional. They are generous in width as well. They’ve been on couple weeks and stay pretty clean (not yet washed). They are somewhat stiffer and not as soft as other bedding I’ve bought— which is exactly what I wanted. For some reason, they also stay in place on the couch better than other coverings I’ve used. They do have a slightly shiny, 1970s motel bedspread look, but they’re perfect for what I wanted. If you want some thick fuzzy plush, don’t order these. If you want a slightly harder, more durable old school type blanket spread that won’t crumple up on touch, then get these. They are not super soft, but I did not want them to be. I’m very pleased with the purchase!UPDATE— these have been washed many times and still look new. Another plus I’ve noticed is I can wash both simultaneously without unbalancing my top load washing machine. That’s a big plus for me!

I have ordered and sent back so many times it’s kept the UPS men in shape! The color was never right or the fit. I needed and oversized, lightweight quilt in a beige but just not any beige.... So finally this quilt was the winner! I haven’t washed it yet so I can’t say how that is yet. It the color is great, the feel is soft, most importantly the size is perfect! I have a tall bed and needed the over hang! I love it!

This is a decent quality item for the price. It's very thin, but perfect for adding a decorative layer without adding too much unnecessary warmth. However, I bought a King sized set and the shams were for standard sized pillows. Normally a king sized blanket would come with king size shams. Really disappointed that this isn't specified in the product description (it just says "shams included" so I guess my fault for assuming they would ship with matching sizes...?). The coverlet size was great though, plenty of length all around. Almost a great purchase, but now I have mis-matching shams which make the whole thing useless as a set. And of course I washed it before realizing the size issue with the shams, so I guess I'm stuck. Buyer beware!

I am known throughout the family and the KINGDOM as a quilt snob. Ive had hundreds throughout my life, and am very particular on quality. I have to give this coverlet 10 stars!!! Its very big and oh so soft! It has washed extremely well and no shrinkage...its amazing for all seasons. Im in Southern California and have it as my go to blanket every night!The price is on point and cant be beat! Hurry and hit the BUY NOW button!

Gorgeous! The cream is exactly as shown in the photo- not stark white and not ivory, but a great color in between. It’s very lightweight, which is great for Texas summer. The interior design is heat-pressed, not stitched in but that’s to be expected at this price. I was very happy with the complex level of detail. The edging is just on with a straight stitch so I’m not sure how well it will last but I’ll update this review in a few months. At this point in time, I’m very happy with this purchase. :)

I liked the color and the texture of the cloth. Normal comforters are bulking and a bit heavy but this one is perfect. Also, it lays very well on the bed and always looks tidy. I have searched for a long time in many stores for this and wouldn't you know... found it on Amazon!

I purchased this as an additional blanket to place on the bed in my guest room. Its pretty lengthy on each side, so the amount of fabric left to hang is very generous. I placed the coverlet in the dryer first to remove wrinkles and placed it on the bed! It’s perfect for what I bought the item for. It is thin, so if you’re looking for a thicker quilt, you might want to purchase something else. Definitely recommend purchasing this item!

I rarely write reviews but feel like I have to in this case. This coverlet is ridiculously huge, as in they really aren't kidding when they call it "oversized". I bought the Full for my Full-sized bed, thinking it might hang a tad longer on the sides and end of the bed than I'm used to - but it may be too big for even a King-sized bed. The shams fit Standard/Queen-sized pillows fine though. Overall the quality is good and I like the embossed diamond pattern, so I'm keeping it. But also beware if you're buying the white colour that it's not as shown in the picture. The 'white' is somehow even warmer than ivory, so more of a cream/very light beige.

Paid $40 and it is the best $40 spent! It's very pretty and great quality! Will purchase again.

Seems like a good deal for the money, was as expected in terms of quality and look- very nice crisp white. It is a great size as it hides underneath bed- and no need for dust ruffle (hate those!) I have 15" mattress with a 4" topper on a 5" high bed frame, and it goes almost to floor on all sides. Will report back on durability..also shams fit my pillows perfectly!Note- I see that the patterning is going to fade-it is not actually stitched, just stamped in. already some areas have the pattern stamp raising and coming out after using for two weeks. I saw this in other reviews and took a chance.... For the price it's to be expected I suppose. reduced my rating as result.

I could put up the the extra 4 feet at the end of the comforter, I just tucked it under. (it was difficult to do, because of all the material but i did it.)But, we have two dogs, I have always been able to toss these into the dryer with wet towel and it will removed the hair.Not these ones. I put it through three rounds. Put it back on my bed, and ran my wet hand over the spread... Tonnes of hair still.I would not buy these again.

I'm very happy with this coverlet in that it fits our king size bed like a bedspread - just like I was hoping for when I read "oversized" in the description. Yes! It's OVERSIZED and lightweight. (I have to giggle at some of the negative sounding purchaser reviews that say it's sooo huge. It's supposed to be and I'm happy it is!)I previously bought a different coverlet that was ridiculously small and barely reached over the sides of the bed. That was a complete waste. This one FITS the bed and reaches about 5 inches from the floor on both sides. I've washed this one now and it came out beautifully (I have a terrible, small dryer at the moment and it fit just fine). The fact that it's lightweight makes washing it a breeze. We have pets and so the ability to wash it without a hassle is a big plus.So... this is a purchase I'm happy with! Two thumbs up for this one.
