I did have to 'reduce' a 4x6 picture' on my copier so it would fit into the frame area. The frame area isn't as large as it looks. This is still a GREAT and UNIQUE gift for any horse owner or horse lover.

Ok, this is adorable, sturdy and my in-laws loved it! BUT - the way you attach a photo in is with a magnet - so if you pick up from the top, it feels like you break it. You don't, just have to reattach the magnet. But would have like notice!Otherwise, super easy to use the sample picture to cut out the picture I used.

This is a very nice frame but the 4x6 description is misleading. The overall frame measures 4 x 6 and it doesn't actually hold a 4 x 6 picture. The largest picture I could fit in this frame was a wallet size. I was a little disappointed by the small size. I guess I was expecting a clydesdale size shoe that held a 4 x 6 photo.

I have ordered a lot of River's Edge products in the past and have always found them to be high quality. This, however, is so bad it's offensive. First of all, this is NOT a 4 X 6 frame, to say it is is entirely false advertising. To make a photo fit in the horseshoe you have trim it down significantly so that it ends up being closer to 2.5 X 4. In my case I had a 4 X 6 photo or my mom's horse that passed away this year, and I would have had to cut off the horse's ears and nose to make it fit in the frame. Second, the glass the holds the photo upright is attached to the frame with cheap magnets that disconnect at the slightest bump. This is literally the worst product I have ever purchased on Amazon, and the best part is since I didn't open the box until I had the photo to put in it I missed the 30 day return window and now I'm stuck with these cheap pieces of garbage!

It was a Christmas gift for my mama in law and she loves it! It was very nice!

This is perfect for my needs. Interestingly, the frame has little magnets that hold the picture on. It is secure though so it is a non-issue for me, but for others it might be because if you don't pick it up by the base the two parts will come apart. I love this frame, wish it came in black but I will be painting it anyway.

Cute idea but the magnet that holds the picture to the horse shoe is very weak. I had to glue mine. Over all I still like the product
