Well, the wife bought this camera without my knowledge. And at first I was kinda peeved about it. Saying things like, I’ve never heard of this company and it’ll probably be a crappy camera during night time. After setting it up (which took no time at all), the picture quality is good and the night time footage has exceeded my expectations. Oh yeah, and i apologized to the wife. Haha! I cannot tell you how happy I am with this VERY affordable camera. You can move the camera from your phone, and even click the mic button on your phone and you can transmit your voice over the camera. That’s crazy! I’ll post a picture of my living room in pitch darkness. Just wow! Must see!!!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I have several of these cameras in my house, this is the first 1 that is 1536p great crystal clear picture. Will we switching out all of my 720p to this camera. It did take me a while to get it connect because my volume on my speaker wasn’t turned up all the way before it wasn’t necessary to have it all the way up.

Great for keeping an eye on the cats while out of the house. Have it aimed at their food bowls since that seems to be where they spend most of their free time.Simple set up. Instructions are not super clear but it is easy enough. Has to be on 2.4GHz network, won't work on 5GHz.

Good picture, both at night and during the day! We got them to check on our pets and talk to them if we need to :) Easily controlled by your smartphone, too.

The Kamtron wireless webcam is plenty-packed with features that make it a worthwhile addition to any home or office for keeping track of activities from afar. It’s got a reasonable price ($65 is what I paid), which seems lower than my comparisons with similarly-featured webcams. The webcam comes with full left-to-right and up-and-down remotely controlled motion, night vision, cloud and local SD storage, and remote access through a mobile app.Installation was not difficult, taking around 5 minutes to get up and running. All you need to do is plug it in, use the app, and configure your wireless network settings. Nice voice prompts and sounds emanate from the webcam making following instructions easy.The webcam is more attractive than typical, with my black version having a shiny surface. The package came with a power adapter, Ethernet cord, and mounting bracket. The only cons are that you can’t save to your own FTP or DVR server, which is typical at this price point, and the cloud service is not free at any price point (free trial exists). Both of those cons are typical so not unusual, again at this price.

These cameras are an awesome value. The image quality is excellent with zoom and night mode capabilities. Very easy install with Android app and WIFI (2.4 ghz only). There is also the ability to view the camera video via a web browser if you use the "common video" selection. Rotation and Up & Down are smooth and easy to control.

Because of my great experience with this camera previously; we purchased a second one for my wife's art studio. I have set up cameras similar to this before and it has been very difficult. But these Kamtrons hooked up to my WiFi network easily in about 5 minutes using our cellphones (Samsung and iPhone). The app (search for "MIPC" ) is available for both ANdroid and iPhone. On the 1st camera; the app told me to change my WiFi connection to 2G rather than 5G when it couldn't connect. That fixed the problem instantly. When attaching the new camera to my network; it found the camera all by itself. SO I can watch both cameras at the same time. Downloading the app to my iPad and signing in made the camera visible and controllable there as well. The pictures are very clear both day and night, but just realize that it is an affordable security camera and not a top of the line DSLR. It does what it is supposed to do however and does it well. I highly recommend it.

Turn off your phone's wi-fi before trying to add the camera to the app.Camera does everything I could hope for. Great picture. Very good sound, for both listening and speaking. The PTZ works well. It makes a very quiet noise while moving with PTZ. It doesn't bother me or my dogs. One of them will look at the camera when it makes that noise, the other one doesn't care at all!It has helped me figure out which dog does what and when. Helps me with training.I have not had any problems since I got the camera connected to my wi-fi. I can see how this would be useful for monitoring anything that goes on while you are gone. I am thinking about buying at least one more.

The camera was great when it worked, but would randomly disconnect from the wifi network and you would have to go through the entire setup again to reconnect it. One of those times I unplugged it and now it wont turn on again after about a month and a half of having it. Go buy something from a reputable company instead.
