Absolutely gorgeous design, although it is large and chunky with a whole lot of bling ;)I will say the bracelet is huge and will require adjusting, so please be aware if you are ordering it as a gift to allow plenty of time for the adjustments to be made. There is a service included in the presentation box you can send the watch to be altered at an additional cost of £5. Again leave plenty of time for this to be returned if purchasing for a gift.Easy to use and alter the time.A fantastic piece of jewelery and beautifully designed watch.

Upon receiving this watch I was quite surprised by the sheer size of this piece considering that it is advertised as a ladies watch. I don't say this in a negative sense because if this what you're looking for then at least they exist, but it should noted however.Dimensions: The crystal has a diameter of 30mm with the bezel extending it out further to 40mm. It has an overall thickness of 10mm.What stood out for me as being significantly disappointing was the motionless bezel which leads me to doubt the overall aesthetic choices made by the designers and their motives. This is something I'd expect to find on some cheaper product which gives it an overall tackier feel to it. Beauty however is in the eye of the beholder, so maybe it will appeal to you or maybe it won't.Generally though the watch does feel well made as one would expect from a Swiss Made watch.I have attached some photographs for your perusal.

This is a superbly made, heavy, showy watch. Made by the legendary Swiss watchmaker Roamer it is at the apex of quality, and should have excellent timekeeping (though hardly an issue these days with quartz)It won't be to everyone's taste: for a ladies watch it is very large and very heavy (many men's watches would be smaller and lighter) and a rich mix of gold and mother of pearl - to the point of being blingy. Personally, I think it stays the right side of the line and would make a lovely dress watch.

I can't say that I was familiar with Roamer Watches before I received this watch but they look to be a good quality luxury watch brand from Switzerland, and what they don't know about watches probably isn't worth knowing. This is a very lovely pearl and gold watch and will be perfect for formal and evening occasions. (It may be a tad heavy for day to day) As other have mentioned, the strap is absolutely HUGE, far more fitting as a male size, however you can send it away to be adjusted using the size guide in the box, and once adjusted the face fits well even on the smallest of wrists, and I have tiny ones so that might help someone judge the sizing for themselves.The presentation of the watch is in keeping with a luxury brand with a nice box and cushion for the watch inside. The overall appearance is gorgeous and I am looking forward to wearing this to many Christmas drinks and celebrations to come.

This watch is not what I expected from the picture. I was expecting something with a small face and slimline but in reality it is the complete opposite. It has a very large face and is quite weighty. The strap is much closer to that I would expect on a mans watch.On the positive side, it does come very nicely presented so would make a nice gift if it's to your tastes.I personally don't feel it is worth the current over £400 price tag, but everybody has different tastes.

Although this isn't a "well known brand", this does have a Swiss movement and on box-opening there is definitely a wow! factor.If the strap needs shortening they ask you to send it to their service team for free, and it is clear that the company wants to position themselves and their products at the high end of the market.Looking at the watch, the gold is quite bright but what catches the eye is the stunning mother of pearl face which is set off beautifully by the overall design. It isn't too blingy (not encrusted with crystals etc). The ceramic elements fit perfectly with the gold and add to the feeling of wearing something special.Top marks to the designers too for making it so easy to read the time! I've seen a few supposedly premium watches which are not necessarily fit for purpose.The weight is also good - heavy but not too heavy to wear, and it is incredibly comfortable on the wrist (the bracelet links don't dig in or pinch).Overall this is the kind of watch/jewellery which really can't fail to please and if received as a present would truly memorable.

I'd never heard of Roamer Watches until I was offered the chance to review this item but apparently they are a Swiss watch manufacturer and have been making watches since 1880. History lesson over!This is a chunky ladies watch and I mean chunky, weighing in at 249 grammes. It has a stainless steel bracelet and case finished in gold. The face is mother-of pearl with Roman numerals and a date display. The face ring is in white as are the bracelet infill pieces. Having a battery operated quartz movement means the second hand 'jumps' in one second intervals, it does not 'sweep'. It is rated waterproof to 5 bar and comes with a manufacturer's 5 year guarantee.The whole item is very substantial and appears to be very well made. I do think it has a limited market however as many ladies prefer a lighter more feminine timepiece, but if this type of watch floats your boat and you don't mind the price tag it could just be what you're looking for.
