Quality, very thin case that protects well against scuffs and minor cosmetic damage. Probably not for the chronic dropper.
This is a surprisingly thin case that seems to hold up very well and doesn't add much in terms of bulk or flash to the phone. I love the soft touch, and it seems to resist mars, smudges, scratches, etc. well for what I can tell.I don't think it's so much of a "protect your phone from breaking" case as it is a "protect your phone from getting scuffed up" case. It's perfect for someone like me who doesn't drop phones. I'm very careful with my phones, keep a pocket dedicated to it, etc. As such, I don't use cases as a general rule. I bought this case for a couple of reasons:1 - I bought a Nexus 6, which was by far the largest phone I'd ever had, and I wasn't super confident with how it felt in my hand, especially when trying to type one-handed. I very rarely drop phones, but I felt like, at least for a while, some "training wheels" would be nice on my first "phablet" (hate that word).2 - Because of the above, I was planning on sticking one of those little elastic finger strap things on the back. I didn't want to put that on my brand new phone. A thin case seemed appropriate.3 - As I said, as someone who doesn't generally drop phones, I wasn't so much concerned about enveloping my phone in an industrial strength shock resistant chamber...I really wanted to protect it from the rough marred corner rash it might get from having a small brush with the asphalt.I was pleased with the case for all the above purposes. One knock against it is, as some of the reviews have pointed out, the buttons really protrude, and the Nexus 6 doesn't have very stiff buttons anyway, so it's super easy to accidentally press the power button in your pocket, purse, etc. I've had more butt dials with the case than I ever did without it, without a doubt.Full disclosure, I no longer use the case. As I mentioned early on, I'm not a big phone dropper or case user, and the phone is no longer my precious brand new baby, and I've gotten used to holding it, so I no longer need the "Training wheels." But I wouldn't hesitate to put the case on again to go for a run or a vacation or something.

Better when properly installed
For those having issues with the fit of the two-piece Spigen Neo Hybrid case...installation process makes a huge difference. At first I found it easier to slip on the main TPU section, and then put the outer polycarbonate ring on. This just makes it harder to seat the outer ring properly and you'll end up with loose sides and gaps.First, set your phone aside for a moment.Take the PC outer ring and install it on the TPU main section. Make sure the edges of the ring meet the edges of the TPU main section flush. You'll even feel and hear it snap into place. Double check all the way around the edges of the two pieces and ensure they meet flush. Now go back and triple check.Lay the assembled case with the phone opening-side up (back side down) on a table.Take your phone and slide the charging end (bottom) into the case. Push it down into the case and press on one corner, then the other to ensure it's seated. Now, press the two top corners down into the case. You'l need to use a bit of force, but don't worry, you're not going to break anything. You should now have a case that fits on your phone pretty well. I can still feel a very, very tiny amount of play in the outer ring along the long left side of the phone, but it fits 100x better after installing it this way compared to my first attempt. You just really have to make sure the outer ring is mated/seated properly to the TPU section first. As for the metallized buttons...I'm not a fan. They're rattly and too smooth/similar to be able to differentiate between the power and volume buttons on feel alone.Otherwise, if you take the time to install it properly, it's a decent case.

Spigen has done it again!
I had purchased this case for my S5, which survived falling out of my pocket while on my motorcycle. So when I purchased the Nexus 6, it was a no brainer to get another Spigen NEO case. This case is nice, but I am not in love with it like my last one. Seems as if the case is a little slippery in the hand, and does not provide a whole lot of extra grip. Maybe that is because it is still NEW though.Everyone seems to have an issue with the buttons. They do rattle a little, but nothing to be overly concerned about. They are toggle keys that are there to protect the originals and still appear stylish. There is no tactile distinction between power and volume, but that is no big deal (but ssshhhh... A little secret between you and me, the power button is the one on the top).It does take a minute to get the phone with the rubber casing into the harder shell. You just have to work it. Keep in mind, this is not a bad thing because you know that your phone is going to stay in the case and not pop out if dropped. The case preserves the Motorola emblem on the back which is a definite plus. It is slim and does not ad bulk to an already large phone. You can still feel all vibration with phone calls and texts. Not sure about wireless charing yet, but I hear it does work.Overall, four stars for a well made case that will protect your phone and keeps the style of the Nexus brand.Edit 12/26/14: The case supports wireless charging.

Slim, sleek case with no additional bulk.
The case is exactly as described and I'm very happy with this purchase. Since getting my Nexus 6 I've found it difficult to find a case that doesn't add too much bulk to the phone, this is that case. It's lightweight but not flimsy. The champagne gold accent colour is perfect and the metallic power/volume buttons are great. Another reviewer mentioned difficulty getting the charger to plug in correctly, but I don't fnd that at all. Very satisfied with this case.

Poor build quality, incorrect colours.
I have always had Spigen Neo-Hybrid cases for my previous phones because of the tactile buttons, and professional and slick look they had. Maybe I received a defect, maybe not as a few other reviewers have the same problems I list.1). Colour was not at all accurate. I ordered the silver one and what I received was not silver. Rather, it was a weird green colour. It looks very tacky.2). The flexible TPU part of the case covers the charging port. This is a design flaw, not a defect. I'm surprised as Spigen's attention to detail and port locations are always on point. It covers just until the opening, which does not allow for proper usb cord fit at all. I had to bend my usb port so that it would fit using this case. Continued bending would of broken the usb cable as well as the internal usb port on the phone. Really not impressed.3). The buttons, while tactile, were too tactile. I kept accidentally hitting the buttons way too many times, so if I was to rotate my phone and the button gently brushed along my hand, it would activate the button and it would frequently lock the phone or mess with the volume levels. I'm not happy about that.4). The buttons on the case did not fit well. They often fell out of the outer case and were creaky and rocked back and forth when the phone was in the case. This is poor workmanship on Spigen's part.5). The case was exceedingly difficult to put on and resulted in the case not fitting on in certain areas. Parts would overlap between one layer and the other, and it was exceedingly hard to impossible to fit it properly. In conclusion, it looks like Spigen has really messed this case up. It adds quite noticeable bulk to the phone, and it detracts from the design of the phone, as well as being very poorly made/designed. I was a loyal Spigen customer, now I'm starting to have second doubts after my experience with this case.

Decent case, but should be significantly cheaper
Looks great on my phone, feels a bit flimsy when held. The metallized buttons press too easily, I often turn on the screen or change volume simply from lightly picking the phone up (this doesn't happen with the regular buttons) and they rattle around a little when moving the case. The hard plastic bumper on the edges also flexes quite a bit, if you try to grab the phone from the side you'll often pull the bumper a little away from the rubber case. Otherwise the case is fine, but honestly not worth the price.
