Instructions not included.
This broom arrived promptly, but out of the box needed some manufacturing. In the box was a long handle, and a broom head, with a nail. No instructions! Now I’m not a tradesman, more of a desk jockey in real life, but I thought I’d give it a go.After an hour or two of head-scratching and trying to see where and how things fit together, I figured out that the tapered end of the handle (NOT the rounded end) goes into the hole on the top of the broom head.(Pro tip: remove the nail from the opening before inserting the handle - don’t throw it away though, you’ll need that in a minute.)Once you have inserted the tapered end into the hole, give it an extra push and twist to ensure it sits firmly. Then replace the nail into the guide hole, and using a hammer, brick, or other handy heavy hard surface, tap the end of the nail until it’s all snug in the wood.It might not seem like much, but I can assure you this is more than sturdy enough. But how does it work? Well, following my epic self-assembly I tried it a couple of ways round. You will find it more useful as a floor broom, it’s not really best suited for cobwebs and curtains (although be my guest!) and I purchased it to use outside as a yard brush. I found the pushing motion to yield better results than a pulling motion. What else can I say? Assembled, on the ground, and pushing the dirt out of my path, it is true what they say: a new broom really DOES sweep clean! No batteries required and it doesn’t even need an overnight charge! As a tool, it does its job commendably, but it also looks fantastic! No splinters, nice smooth wood, assembles nicely, and with a nice logo on the broom head.Brilliant.10/10 would recommend.Buy this broom and have your neighbours bristling with envy!

good
I like the size. I used it to clearn the wooden bridge off leaves, and make it less slippery, also cleared up garden path, and patio. I hope to do my driveway next and make the red bricks clear of mud, it will be very useful with the wet weather we have been having in Kent. We did screw it instead of using the nail provided, so thanks to the commenter for that tip. The only thing I don't like is that the broom is quite short for a tall person. I am 5ft 8. I can manage it for my needs but sometimes things need an extra shove. it is good value, light, good width and slides over the path but still picks things up.

Broom Broom!
Finally got round to ordering a new brush having thrown my old one away, it was just gathering dust.Arrived well packed but disassembled, opened it up to reveal my new broom in all its wooden glory. I tried to brush it off but there were no instructions by way of assembly manual nor a user guide, but Google came to the rescue.I was swept away with how well it went together, after the 2nd attempt that is. Nb, bristly things go down, long thin sticky part points up.It is somewhat of a sweeping statement, but if there was an awards ceremony for the best broom, this one would make a clean sweep. Quality products like this should come out of the closet and not be swept away by cheap imports.Environmentally friendly being made of dead trees, energy efficient not needing batteries nor electric. Much better than a vacuum too, cause they just suck!

Sturdy brush but broom handle not very well secured
The actual brush surface is excellent as are the bristles. However, the broom handle had to be attached to the brush head and is only secured by a flimsy nail. It already wobbles. Would have given 5 stars otherwise.

Garden broom
Good quality broom. A good weight, ideal for long periods of use. Sweeps all sorts of materials with ease. Looks like it will last a long time. A constructive comment not a criticism, I personally recommend putting a wood screw through the front of the broom head into the handle for a more secure attachment as the handle wobbles just using the nail supplied. Very pleased with purchase. Thank you.

Sturdy enough for the garden
Wanted a wide broom for the garden, this does the job. No frills does what a broom is supposed to do, bought at a reasonable price, no complaints.

Needs to be glued, but good.
It's good, but the handle doesn't firmly fit with only the nail provided. Use some No More Nails to glue them together and you've got yourself a good brush that should last years.
