This is a complete collection of samples of all his areas
Wh0o am I to review Jack London, one of the finrst American writers to have ever lived. Reading his material is amazi ng. He is able to capture the essence of life and he puts you in the middle of it. If you are looking at this collection then you already know that he was far more than "The Call of The Wild" or "Fang."So let me speak about this complitation. It includes several novels, a number of essays and many short stories- some of which I'd never seen before. It's a volume that is great ffor introeducing someone to London as it gives many different styoles. This thin book is stufed.; the pages are thin the print is small so it's possible to carry about a vast amount of his work in a compact form.Jack London was really one of the settlers of Alaska and Cal.ifornia and he lets us see the west from the 19th century.

Great Stories
Bought the book for two stories The Sea Wolf and Call of the Wild. Didn't finish reading it yet but if I know Jack London he won't disappoint

computerized reprint
Material is, well, Jack London. The book is physically big, there is a glaring error in the typesetting of at least one title page, but putting aside my snobbish disappointment, at least the fonts and sizes are consistent throughout, and the text is obviously not merely scanned, and is totally useable.

A must read for every boy and young man !
I fondly recall reading Jack London's tales of his adventures in Alaska as a boy. He inspired a great sense of adventure in me at a very young age which helped foster a love of the outdoors and seeking out new experiences. I've made a tradition of giving a copy of his collected works to both my son and every male child of my extended family and all of my friends.

Exciting prose from a different era that seems like a different world
Exciting prose from a different era that seems like a different world. Was America as free as it seems in these stories? Hard, yes. But for better or worse, free of the heavy, heavy layer of institutions that now dominates our daily lives.

If you LOVE Jack London, this tome is for you!
I am a minimalist. I only allow myself to own 10 paperbased books. All other reading is digital pdfs or online documents and reads. This is one tome I wanted in my collection. Jack London, with his realism, and knowledge about wolves and the Nature of life is a fave author. With Thoreau, he could be my fave American author. This is an excellent tome of his BEST WORK. If you like Jack London, get this book. If you only moderately like Jack London, just check this out from the library.

Disappointed
According to description, I thought I was ordering a compilation of Jack London novels. Frankly, I don’t even know what this is, I just know it’s not what I’d hoped. Disappointed.
