Great!... BUT eventually leaks at the faucet and can't be tightened. On my 3rd one in 2 years!
I love this hose stand with brass faucet but unfortunately, I'm on my 3rd one in 2 years. The last two I purchased always end up leaking water at the faucet shut off. I just purchased my 3rd one a few days ago. I would give it ten stars if it lasted! When it works it's fantastic!.. but when it starts to fail and leak, there's no fixing it.Unfortunately, there is no way to tighten it back up at the faucet shut off, so water dribbles or squirts out even after completely tightening the faucet knob stop water flow. They seem to fail at the end of each season in the same way (so far I'm CLOSE to the end of season 2 and have gone through 2 stands).I have tried to fix the leaks by tightening the faucet shut off, but it seems to make things worse. I come out to a larger and larger puddle each day, waste water, and end up having to shut the water off on the other side of my stone partition wall. This defeats the purpose of having this stand for me and my purposes.I now go out my front door, to the side of my house, shut off the main water valve (or turn it on), then go through my house and back out to the back yard to water plants and then back through the steps I mentioned in reverse when I'm done. I bought this so that all I had to do was shut it off at the hose stand in the back yard without going back and forth this way. When it's new, it's easy to put together, easy to install, is sturdy if installed well, and provides quite a convenience for me. When it fails, it requires a new expense for me each season. I would hope that this would be sturdy enough to last at least a few seasons before failing. Let's see how #3 fairs. I need it to finish off watering the yard this season. If I could tighten it to remedy the problem it would be wonderful and extend its life, but sadly this is not the case. It's now just a plain old hose stand. Oh well...

Recommend this stand if you’re using a hose that’s 50 feet or shorter
I decorated my new backyard with the Aqua Joe SJ-SHSBB-GRY Steel Garden Hose Stand, and for the past two years, it’s been a solid team player along with my hose and wand from the same company—no complaints from my plants either! The design of this stand is refreshingly simple. Let’s be honest, who needs a complex hose stand? The hose fitting is sturdy, universal, and attaches conveniently to the back. The Y-shaped top makes coiling and uncoiling the hose a breeze, and it’s great at preventing kinks—just toss the hose on the ground, and you’re good to go.Now, I did notice a tiny bit of rust, but that’s on me—I scratched the surface while working around the stand. A quick peel and repaint, and it’s good as new. The only hiccup I encountered was with the O-ring in the hose connector, which wore down after two years. The company wanted me to return the entire unit for an exchange instead of just sending a new O-ring. I wasn’t up for that hassle, so I grabbed a replacement O-ring from the local hardware store, and problem solved!Standing at 5’10”, I planted the stand about a foot underground, and it’s still tall enough that I don’t need to crouch or kneel when using it. It’s been a fantastic addition to my backyard watering setup, easily outperforming other hose stands I’ve tried—coiling and uncoiling a hose has never been easier.I’d recommend this stand if you’re using a hose that’s 50 feet or shorter. Any longer, and you might find it a bit challenging to keep things organized. But overall, this is a great, no-fuss hose stand that gets the job done!

It saved my first-ever garden
I decided to try a garden this year and went with raised beds. It's in the back corner of my yard, and while the hose would reach, it was a pain to roll it out to water and roll it back up. Couldn't leave the hose just laying in the yard because my dogs are chewers. Most days I just resorted to making several trips back and forth with a watering can and my garden was suffering for it with stunted growth, if I got sprouts at all. Then I Found this contraption...purchased a 100' hose and hooked it up to the nearest spigot (on the other side of a privacy fence. Ran the hose along the middle brace of the fence, and installed the hose extension just a few feet from the garden. NOTE that I did need a gasket when I connected the hose to the extension to keep it from dripping. I then bought the coiled hose and connected it to an adjustable nozzle. My husband offered to put a timer on a sprinkler or a soaker hose, which would have meant I wouldn't have to manually water at all. But it relaxes me to work in the garden so I opted for this way. It saves me so much time and aggravation. Would recommend to anyone who needs water in a location where there is none.

Perfect solution
I just moved from a house to a duplex and the water spigot is between the buidings and hard to get to and it is all spidery back there... Watering all my plants was super annoying. I started looking up different solutions and somewhere this came up. I was skeptical this was actually going to work.It is rad. And it is not a huge eye soar, easy to use & the price is very reasonable. SO glad I ran across this!It comes with washers so I was able to get it all functional without any leaks anywhere! The only minor issue I had was when I asked my son to get it staked in to the ground, he bent the metal bar it says to push in with your foot. He was stompingnit because the ground was hard. So not the strongest metal? But it went in and it did not affect its usability. But be careful. Then I just hooked a hose I already had in the back that goes to the main faucet and hooked another hose to the front (it has a hose holder built in) and now I can leave the main water on and just use the spigot on this to control the water. Huge relief I can water without the hassle.A perfect solution. Makes my days a little less annoying! Ha!
