Net Making Paperback – Illustrated, September 17, 2013

This book contains the basics for beginning net making. If you follow the instructions for each project, you will learn a few secrets which is the intention of each project. The instructions are easy to understand and follow. There is also some useful information tables which can help you plan the size of netting you can expect to produce when planning your own projects. At this point, I use some information in this book as reference material! This book is well worth the money if you are serious about learning the basics of net making!

Great easy read. Written in the 70’s vernacular it is simple to read and It is written to be a project like organizing tool for teachers,...very clear instructions I found this a great resource to bridge any gap in understanding. If you like the idea of netting I think your going to like this book to help you understand a great deal very clearly.

I received my order long after the estimated time, but you can blame brazilian customs and post service (we've got an strike here). The book itself is very clear, with step-by-step instructions and useful hints. The objects that can be crafted are useful, and you can use the know-how to craft other things (in my case, sailboat gear). This was a gift. My friend really liked it and said he is learning a lot from it.

I wanted to make a net to cover the trash I must haul off to the city. The law requires that the trash be secured so that it will not blow out of the truck. This netting is very sturdy and I am able to secure it to the bed of the truck.

Pretty good book. Helpful for someone who has never done this before.

I tried making net from instructions in an old needlework book, and looked around on the web, without success; the bits of netting were all wrong. For some reason this book made it very simple and my samples came out right the first try.

Initially reading through seems a brilliant book. Love the illustrations and diagrams.

I have several books for sailing knots and believed this book would be a nice one as well for the nets.However, the quality and quantity of drawings are very bad, old fashion. I was expecting better color photos to explain the work step by step. Very disappointed.

Excellent book on the subject, clear, concise and easy to follow. Covers all aspects of net-making. All in all a great book.

This is a super little book written by a teacher a. for teaching a beginner and b. for showing them how to teach netting to children. It's perfect for what I want to do.
