Last year we purchased the BN-Link outdoor power strip with remote for our Christmas lights. We usually choose to use the remote function rather than the solar timer function because we like to be home to ensure proper inflation of the blow-up figures. The BN-Link power strip with 6 outlets is durable and works well, as does the remote. No more going outside to plug in numerous extension cords to set up lights. Now we just push the remote. I can remember days when we had extensions to plug in everywhere for Christmas decorations--- in the garage, in the dining room, on both sides of the front porch, coming through a bedroom window, etc. The outdoor power strip makes decorating for Halloween and Christmas so much easier. This year we added Christmas blow-up decorations to the side of the house and so purchased a second one, as otherwise the extension cord would have crossed the driveway. We also purchased one for a family member and added lights and figures to her garden as a Christmas gift. She uses the solar function and has her lights come run for 6 hours and then cut off. We like these so much that we purchased a spare just to have on hand at our house.

The media could not be loaded.  This timer is exactly what I needed to replace a malfunctioning Dusk to Dawn timer that I have had for many years. I have a small black timer that I use every Christmas to control my front Christmas lights. This past year (2023) my wife asked me to leave the flood lights shining on the side of the new home we moved to in 2022. I didn't mind since I have LED bulbs in my FLoods so no huge drain on power and I have the timer set to 2 hours after Dusk. Anyway I went outside the other evening before Dusk and noticed my trusty old timer was buzzing. I unplugged it and assumed it was dead so I set to searching for a replacement. This one is much nicer that the one I had which was hanging by the cord from the outdoor outlet. I love that it has a stake and weather covers on each outlet and provides more than one outlet. This will come in handy come Christmas 2024, all I will need to do is change from 2 to 4 hours for that month, then change it back to 2.The 6 foot cord allows me to plug it in and place it behind a bush unseen but where the sensor can sense the ambient light outside for proper function. I have owned BN-Link timers of other types so when this came up in search I preferred this over other brands. The construction is nice with a screw in spike rather than a snap in and it comes with an extensions to let you decide between ground level or elevated. If you have flooding issues, I suggest the elevated extension to be installed. Setup is simple, no messing about with setting a time or dealing with DST...the sensor detects light and cuts on as Dusk and goes off at Dawn. There is a Mode for On, or On at Dusk plus the indicated time, simply press the button until you have the setting you want and when it stoips flashing it is set to that setting. AND it retains the setting when unplugged so no worries if you have power outages.I LOVE that the sensor on top has a spring loaded Cover. You can lightly press down and it feels as though there may be a slight ridge for the cap to catch as well. Overall this is a wonderful product and does exactly what I wanted.

The system was easy to set up, directions for use of remote were a little fuzzy. Works in my inflatable outside just fine, turns on and off. I covered the light sensor and had it set for dusk to dawn. Didn't work. Will test tonight for sure. Worth the money.

Perfect for what I needed I have several trees and bushes in my yard. This was ideal for my Christmas decorations. I love that there is a timer!

have had this timer powerstrip for outdoor for a few months, so far all is good, set the time and the lights go on and off as programed, the lights I plugged into it light up a dark spot near the house at night.

I had a hard time with the timer function. It somehow finally worked correctly in the 6 hr function, so on at dusk and turn off 6 hrs later, but I wanted it on a little longer. As soon as I set it to turn off 8hrs after the dusk on it quit working again and I’d have to manually turn it off with the remote or it would eventually turn off mid morning (way after dawn, which is another option). I could turn it off at say 2am but then a couple seconds later it would just turn itself back on. I was using it for Christmas lights so after turning it off 2 times in a row and it turning itself back on I gave up and just let the lights be on all night so my neighbors wouldn’t think I’d completely lost it constantly turning my lights off & on. So if you don’t mind only having the convenience of your things turning on automatically and then shutting them off yourself I’d recommend this outlet timer.

I had one that was similar and after spending the winter and summer outside eventually it broke down. This is perfect for my pool in the summer and my Christmas light during the winter. Not that expensive and it will work for long time.

Arrived on time, has dust covers over timer and recepticals. Just what I need for my application.

Very complicated to set up.
