The fobs programmed perfectly until you leave the car for a few minutes. Then nothing. Took it to my favorite garage and they tried on their machine. Same thing. Then the garage owner checked GM bulletins and found this one: #06-08-52-02G that described our difficulty. The top of page 2 says it “ may be caused by an internal fault with the transmitters and/or the RCDLR software/hardware. “ and goes on to say: “Check VIS to determine if Inventory Upgrade 07007 applied and has been completed.” You can read the rest from the pictures I have included with this review. Bottom line is the fobs work great and the programming instructions are clear, but it will soon stop working from no fault of the fob manufacturer nor the person programming it. The fault is with GM and requires the customer take it to GM for the Inventory Upgrade. I suspect if you mention GM document number 06-08-52-002G they will not charge you since it is similar to a recall situation. I hope this helps. Do not be afraid to buy the fob since it is fine, but no fob will work without GM first doing a software upgrade through T1S2WEB (page 2, number 4).

Worked perfect for my 07 Suburban!! Local GM dealership wanted $155 for a new key fob...ordered this and hubby set it up in a matter of a minute or two. Works perfectly...and I didn't have to shell out $155+ dollars!! The only thing that would definitely be an improvement is if it had better range. My vehicle is parked right outside my house and I can not lock my doors thru the window...bummer. But overall definitely better than trying to use a key and unlock doors with kids running around.

Purchased for a 2007 Chevy Tahoe LTZ. The dealership quoted us $360 for the product and installation. We felt that was absurd and sought other options, so we ordered this product. It works perfectly, all buttons work, auto start, opening the trunk as well as the back window, etc. So glad we found this product, we saved a lot of money.Highly recommend this product. Ordering another one now :)

Bought this to replace the housing of my factory keyfob. Worked perfect.If you're planning on using the circuitry it comes with, be aware you will likely have to go the dealership to have them program it. Luckily for me the guts of the factory remote still worked so it was a quick swap.

Very good buy. GMC dealer wanted over $200.00 plus a cost for programing it. Buyers beware. Very good product had it working in under 5 minutes and no problems whatsoever.
