GolfWorks Quick Shaft Clamp Golf Club Regrip Vise Tool

This clamp works great and worth the price. It's well made and easy to adjust as you move from steel to graphite..I've been using a shop vice with a rubber insert for years. This setup is difficult to adjust properly as you move from club to club, and last year I split a shaft by using too much pressure. I should have swallowed the price and bought one of these a long time ago..NOTE: The enclosed screws are large diameters and would only work if you had a thick board/shop-table-top, and pre-drilled the holes to keep the screws from splitting the wood. Additionally, there is little vertical room for gripping and tightening these large screws without damaging the screw bite. In my opinion, this method of attachment would eventually fail anyway due to torque while pushing the screws when ripping-off grips and pressing-on grips using back-and-forth movement..For my use (I wanted to use it at a lower level) I mounted it on a 3/4 plywood board (@18" x 30" long). I then temporarily attach the plywood board to my saw horses with 4 screws. This works great..For fastening, I mounted the vice about 1/2 inch from the edge of the board using two 1/4” bolts [@2 1/4" Long], 4 fender washers, and 2 nuts. The mount is very strong and the vice doesn't move..When finished, I remove the board from my saw horses and store the board w/vice attached. For infrequent use this is more than satisfactory. If you want to mount it permanently, I would suggest that you peruse the local box store for better fasteners and improvise a method of attachment.

Incredible product at a great price. Mounted easily to a 2x4 and held in place by a portable workbench/vise combo. So much easier then the rubber clamp in the vise to line up clubs. Only thing to be careful of is the width of graphite shafts, 3 wood and driver shafts are much thicker then irons and wedges. Should have bought this tool years ago!

It may cost a bit more than just the rubber you put into a vise but this vise work’s excellent and adjusts to any shaft diameter

This makes changing grips so much easier. Works perfectly with all size shafts - adjustable.

This is a step up from a traditional bench vise grip. The price point is okay. Shop around and find one that swivels...that feature is worth the extra money. Also this one's clamp stiffens up after 20-30 uses. Okay quality

Absolutely essential for re-gripping golf clubs. Like having an extra set of hands helping you. Solid materials and smooth mechanism. Excellent product.

100 times faster than the rubber shaft clamp, a must for regripping clubs. Wish I gotten one years ago
