Why did you pick this product vs others?:great attachment

We use a mooring ball and this makes tying up so much easier. We used it (fully retracted) to grab the mooring buoy in a storm with high winds and choppy waves. It did an awesome job and if it was going to fail, that was it's chance, but it did not.If you are dealing with heavy loads or big boats, do not try to use it extended because it loses it's strength. If you are familiar with boating you will know they are designed to be used for loads when retracted. But extended is great for grabbing a dock line, something that fell overboard or anything else out of reach.For $38 this is well worth the price.

I haven’t used it yest as it just arrived yesterday. I purchased this to help push off my boat when in shallow water or to assist getting into a a mooring spot and several other boating uses. The item arrived in a huge box that could have been a quarter of the size, but was in perfect shape and upon inspection, this is a very high quality build. Extends easily and the clips hold in place. Looking forward to using. So far, glad I bought it.

Very well built and strong product. Easy to use and does exactly what it says. Use it a lot in the boat to move logs and stuff out of the way.

Handle works great, and I was surprised how strong the locking mechanisms (2) for telescoping are. I am able to lift my crab live well out of the water without the handle slipping out. The extensions also have a groove to kept the shafts from rotating which is handy to keep your hook or other attachment aligned the way you want.The thread pitch on this handle is standard so you can attach paint roller frames, misc brushes etc. I found a nice net at EGO fishing to attach to it, but the EGO net was not a standard thread so I had to modify it using a threaded fitting from another tool.Definity recommend.

This boat hook looked sturdy, expanded easily, but when I used it to push off from the dock the end aluminum section bent 90 degrees and cracked at the bend when I tried to straighten it. So now not usable. I did not use excessive force to push. Use it as a hook but don't count on it to push.

Beautiful telescopic pole for your boat or your pickup truck to pull stuff out when you need it. And it's also really handy so you can fold it up. Small!!
